⚠️🥗 “Healthy Eating” That’s Making You Fatter 😳💥 (Here’s Why)
This might sound backwards…
But I see it all the time with busy professionals in their 30s, 40s and 50s 👇
People switch to “healthy eating”…
But instead of getting leaner and more energised, they actually gain weight 📈😬
So what’s going on?
Here are the most common hidden mistakes:
🍯 “Healthy” foods that are still high calorie
Nuts, oils, granola, smoothies, avocado… all great foods, but VERY easy to overeat
🥤 Liquid calories sneaking in
Smoothies, juices, fancy coffees… they don’t fill you up like real food but still add up fast
🥗 Too little protein
Without enough protein, you stay hungry, snack more and struggle to maintain muscle 💪
🍽️ Over-restricting → rebound eating
Cutting too much too fast often leads to cravings and overeating later in the day or week
📊 No structure or awareness of portions
“Healthy” doesn’t automatically mean “fat loss friendly” if portions are off
The truth is simple:
You can eat “clean” and still overconsume calories without realising it ⚖️
Fat loss isn’t about perfect food choices…
It’s about balance, structure and consistency over time 👊
