e. I love my two adorable children but feel the need to preach that there is life beyond your kids. It is so important to dedicate time and energy into ensuring that you are both happy and healthy. If you ever feel the need to justify wanting to work out, go for a run, diet to lose weight, or just have some head space and you time, please just remember this mantra....

“A happy mummy will result in a happy child”. I trained to become a Physical Education teacher 14 years ago and have worked with a number of successful young athletes. In addition to my teaching career, I have developed a passion for long distance running. My structured training programmes have enabled me to achieve recognition and awards due to hard work and dedication. I wanted to set up Temple Fit as I have a strong desire to encourage and inspire others, to help them to grab the reigns with both hands and drive towards their personal goals. Working towards achieving these personal
goals will make you feel healthier and happier in body and mind. Temple Fit isn’t about being a certain size, lifting the heaviest weight or running as fast as you can. It is solely about regaining the connection with your inner self, setting realistic and achievable goals to boost self-esteem, developing confidence and challenging yourself to be the best that you can possibly be. HAPPY HALF TERM TEAM TEMPLE FIT 😀
Have a well earned week off.

Temple fit top tips to ensure you don’t lose any fitness or ache ridiculously after the first week back next term…😉

1- keep active; walk/run/play/exercise daily & aim for 10k steps.
2- eat a clean, balanced diet & hydrate.
3- sleep 7+ hours a night & rest & relax when tired.
4- allow treats in moderation & use them to reward daily achievements. Earn them!
5-stretch daily, either follow a yoga sequence or just stretch on the floor/standing to prevent tight muscles & connective tissue.
6- have fun, socialise, drink wine and live life to the max! Loz@Temple-Fit 🙏🏻

Keep growing - This goes for any change we make to our lifestyle. Hard at first to adjust but then becomes easier and eventually effortless & autonomous. Eating well, not drinking alcohol in the week, drinking more water, staying active, minimising sugar, allowing time for ourselves to unwind… all essential for a healthy body, mind & soul. Make the adjustments, take on the challenges, reap the benefits, feel the rewards 💪🏼
