Our Lane Head Spartans had a brilliant visit and it was great to see a local business so passionate about supporting young players in the community. We really appreciate the support and kind words – it means a lot to the boys 🙌⚽

We had some very special visitors at Love Joes Factory Shop last Saturday ⚽💙💛💚

The kids from Lane Head Spartans popped in, and it was lovely to welcome them into the shop. We’re so proud to support young talents in the local community and really appreciate them taking the time to visit.

🎖 PLAYER OF THE MONTH – OCTOBER 🎖

Harry has been in brilliant form recently — pulling off some top saves and showing great progress in every area we’ve challenged him on. He’s been more vocal around his area, shown real confidence working outside the box, and improved his distribution massively in training.

His hard work, attitude, and commitment sum up exactly what Player of the Month is all about. 👏

⚽ Match Update – vs Sky Blues 💛💙

A tough game on Saturday on a very small pitch, which made it tricky for both sides. We had some good moments of pressure and scored a couple of well-taken goals, but we also made things difficult for ourselves at times and know where we need to improve.

Lots of positives to take into next week — great effort from everyone 👏

⚽ Match Report – Spartans vs Weeden FC U13s

Saturday we welcomed Weeden FC U13s to our home ground. It’s fair to say the lads were still waking up in the first half – we found ourselves 5-1 down by halftime, with Noah grabbing our goal in the 27th minute.

After a good team talk, we came out much better in the second half, creating more chances and showing more fight. Weeden still managed to score again in the 40th minute, but we didn’t give up and kept pushing until the end.

Harley found the net in the 62nd minute and Riley added another in the 68th minute, showing the character and effort we expect from the Spartans. 💪

We put this one behind us and go again next week – onwards and upwards! 🔵⚪

⚽ Match Report – Inkberrow FC U13s vs Spartans

A great, evenly matched game today away at Inkberrow FC.

We went 1-0 down within the first 5 minutes before having a goal ruled offside – which was clearly onside! (We’re not sure the opposition lino has fully read the offside rulebook yet! 😉)

The lads’ heads dipped slightly and Inkberrow took advantage, making it 2-0 after 23 minutes. Connor pulled one back in the 25th minute, giving us hope, but Inkberrow struck again in the 33rd to make it 3-1 going into halftime.

After a good halftime talk about cutting out the silly mistakes, the lads came back fighting. Jensen got us back in the game with a goal in the 45th minute, and we pushed hard for the equaliser but just couldn’t find that last goal.

Despite the scoreline, the lads played extremely well – we take this one as a performance full of positives and a big step forward. 💪

The Spartans kicked off our first 11v11 season in style with a brilliant 4-0 win at home! ⚽🔥

👏 Huge credit to the lads for the effort, teamwork and determination – a fantastic way to begin the season.

🔥 The Spartans Are Back! ⚽

Tomorrow marks the start of a brand-new season at our home ground, and our first game kicks off at 10:00 AM against Hereford Pegasus! Even more exciting – this is our first season playing 11v11 on a bigger pitch, which means bigger effort! Come down and cheer on the team – we need your support! 🙌

A huge welcome to our new recruits: Connor, Jake, Oliver, and Ted – fantastic additions to the squad! 💥

Leading the charge this season is Captain Jensen, with Vice-Captain Kyeran by his side. Together, they embody our values: Respect, Believe, Battle.

We are one club, one family, ready to give everything on the pitch and make this season one to remember. 🏆
