Not the long trip to the seaside that we hoped for yesterday away to Braunton! Despite a lacklustre performance we could and probably should have won the game, however we missed countless chances and found ourselves 3-0 down. The boys finally rallied near the end with goals from Max and Ollie W to make it 3-2, but it was too little too late. Braunton ultimately worked harder, wanted it more and ground out the result on the day.

Well beaten yesterday against a strong, organised and good footballing side away . An early goal that was probably offside did not help but from start to finish Westexe were the better side. Our second half performance was much better but the damage was already done by then. Not enough fight, battle or collective effort on the day. Strong performances from Max M and Leland at the back marking two very good centre forwards. Onto the last 3 games now all away in North Devon!

A great night under the lights last night for a double header with under 18's.

Two good games, evenly battled in a great spirit. Both games could have gone either way.

The first game ended in a 1-1 draw. After finding ourselves 1-0 down through some sloppy defending. The boys equalised with Igor getting his second goal in 2 games. The game then petered out to a draw!

The second game was also very even, Again finding ourselves 1-0 down through a cracking strike that went in off the post. The boys really turned it on then and played out the rest of the game with real energy despite some very tired legs. Billy stole the show with 2 cracking finishes, especially the second that nearly broke the net 🚀

A great effort from all involved, with Adam G putting in a superb performance playing every minute of both games!

Now onto a tricky run of away games to finish the season with league leaders Westexe on Sunday before 3 trips to North Devon!

Back to winning ways on Sunday with a good performance against a well organised Okehampton side. With Cullompton unfortunately folding 3 former Culm players in Max, Alex and Igor re-joined the squad to help with numbers which was timely due to quite a few not being available. Igor scored the first, before Okehampton equalised direct from a free kick, Adam then scored a rare right footed goal, Ollie W then scored from a goal made purely from hard work and chasing down the defence, before George finally got the better of Okehampton's centre half after a good 90 minute battle to score with the the last kick of the game!

Not to be in the semi final of the league cup today losing to a strong and talented Elburton team. Bare bones, With just 12 players available for such an important game it was always going to be a tough ask. On the day the boys didn't have enough belief or fight in them to truly challenge. Billy getting us back in the game just after half time then a couple easy chances were missed before we gifted some sloppy goals from set pieces to put the game to bed. However these boys should all be immensely proud to have got this far in their first season of under 18's, With lots of games left and a full final season next year to look forward to they have plenty to be positive about. A cracking bunch ❤️ Onwards and upwards lads 👍

A gutsy performance today against a very good and unbeaten Boca Seniors side! With a threadbare squad and players playing when poorly the boys really stuck together and on another day would have got something from the game. Billy opened the scoring from the spot before a neat bit of football saw Boca equalise. With a man down injured we should have kicked the ball out in the second half to stop the game but then ended up giving away a silly penalty instead to go 2-1 down! Billy nearly grabbed an extravagant equaliser but his overhead kick smashed against the bar and then the follow up was blazed over the bar 😳. The boys just need to believe in themselves a bit more that they can match anyone on their day ⚽️👍

A very good result against a well organised and strong Braunton side, played with a good spirit in an end to end battle all game. Winning 3-1 with goals from Charlie and Adam 2. Backs to the wall at times but the boys dug in and ground out the result despite missing some key players. Man of the match Joe on a day where all 13 were excellent. Well done lads. Cracking effort! ⚽👏

Not to be as the boys went out in the Semi Final of the Devon County Cup. Losing 6-2 to a big, strong and direct Marjons side who deserved the win on the day! We gifted too many goals from errors and unfortunately didn't play to our strengths or style! Goals from Karim and Billy on a day that will have left the lads rueing a big missed opportunity! A great run to get this far though and something to be proud of with only 2 of the squad being second year 18's. Time to regroup and focus on the league plus look forward to the league cup semi final too!

Huge game for the boys on Sunday as they head down the A38 to take on Plymouth Marjons in the semi final of the Under 18's Devon FA County Cup.

Fingers crossed they can make it all the way to the final having already put on some fantastic displays to get this far!

An unbelievable shift from these boys this afternoon against a very talented Buckland Athletic under 18's. Showing heart, desire and a real will to win to dig out a fantastic 1-0 win and see them through to their second semi final of the season, this time in the league cup.
