❇️ End of an era ❇️

Today marks the end of an era for RBPT πŸ’™.

With new and exciting challenges on the horizon for myself and RBPT, after a short break, my doors will now only open again PART-TIME!! πŸ˜₯

This business started as a dream. A dream to want to help teach women how to exercise and live healthy lifestyles. Exercise has always been such a life-line for me, building confidence, helping me grow as a person and continously helping me experience life with happiness and appreciation. On so many occasions, women would say to me that they wished they could exercise, knew how to lift weights or run, or have the confidence to go to a gym, or recover post pregnancy, lose the baby weight, or have help finding motivation.

Retraining and opening RBPT in 2016 was my dream come true to help these ladies. To say I have adored my job (job doesn't feel like the right word, it has never been a chore to go to work) is an understatement.
I have throughly loved learning from, teaching and training each and every client that has walked through my doors over this past 6 years πŸ’•.
Without your support ladies, my little business would not have thrived the way it did, and I am so very thankfully to you all for all you support😘.

However, this is not the end end!! Just change...

In a few short weeks, I will officially be a trainee physiotherapist, and I am super excited to move forward with RBPT and use my new found knowledge and skills to offer the very best service yet πŸ’ͺπŸ‘.

Look out in October for the announcement of RBPT's new package. As sad as closing the door on one chapter is, it is just as exciting opening the door to new adventures πŸ₯³πŸ‘πŸ˜ƒ.

🟨 It is time to announce the 3 week summer shred winner πŸ’ͺ.

Post April and May's Challenge some ladies had understandably eased off their rigid regimes, but then accidentally gone too far. So we decided to do a mini challenge to get ladies focused again before the summer holidays.
It was really simple... 3 weeks, biggest weight loss....(the right way, no starvation!) simple.

Now I have posted about this ladies progress previously. She truly is the model student, never once saying "I can't" or finding excuses. She literally does everything right! And by gosh has she reaped the rewards.

This time, after the 3 week summer shred mini-challenge, she made a further reduction of 3.6kgs (0.5 stone in 3 weeks ) to her already extremely impressive weight loss journey πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘.

Can we all give a huge congratulations to Emma Jones please πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ’ͺπŸ’ͺ. You are absolutely smashing it lovely and deserves everything that brings; improved health, fitness, confidence, mental health, looking and feeling fabulous, praise, admiration. You are an inspiration!!

At the end of last year I was officially offered a place at York St John's University to study Physiotherapy ☺️. As super excited as I am (which I am πŸ‘πŸ‘), it will mean a few changes here at RBPT, mostly a reduction in hours and limited sessions 😞

Last but certainly not least, the winner of the Press ups aspect.

I can say with all honestly this ladies form not only on the press ups, but on all strength based exercises is consistently perfect 🀩.

Winning, she performed a perfect continuous (no pauses!!) FULL 45 Press Ups, an increase from 16, of 29 press ups over the 8 weeks πŸ’ͺπŸ’ͺ.

Your upperbody strength (and full body strength) shows in the quality of your form in everything you do. You do amazingly always, and 100% deserved to win... you're just bloodly fantastic! 🀩πŸ’ͺ😘

Next up is another incredible lady. Honestly to say I am in awe of this lady is an understatement. Joining just at the start of the year, she has surpassed not only my expectations but her own. Stating that she had been the same weight/shape for years and years and would struggle to see any change, she announced that she is now her lightest since before her wedding day 40 odd years ago... 😱😱!!

And how has she made this impossible change? By winning the Most Activity section of the challenge.

Competing in total 8232 minutes of activity (thats 17 hours 15 minutes a week or 2 hours 45 minutes a day) 😲🀯😱, your sheer determination and effort was rewarded, proving that anything is achievable should you desire it, more importantly... work for it πŸ’ͺ.

You are on fire lady ❀️‍πŸ”₯, keep smashing it, breaking boundaries and being the inspiration you are πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸŽ‰πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘.

Now this lady has been at RBPT for nearly as long as I've been open. She has experienced many a "Challenge", and it is fair to say, maybe not always have of enjoyed them.... until now!!

Winning not 1 but 2 aspects of the challenge, she really gave it her all both with her exercise AND her diet! And boy did it show!

Winning with a massive 5.2% reduction in bodyfat, she went from 36% bodyfat at the start of the challenge (2 categories above her ideal) , down to her "ideal target range" of 30.8% πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘.

It's never all about a number on a scale, but in this case, you absolutely bossed those scales, reached your ideal weight range and wholly deserved to feel and look as fabulous as you are πŸ€©πŸ€©πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘.

Not only that, this lady casually smashed out 252 sit ups in week 3 of the challenge, of which no one else was able to get close too. You most certainly have Abs of steel lovelyπŸ’ͺ and that 6pack showing through is amazing!! πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘.

First up, the lady that won not 1, not 2, but 3 aspects of the challenge (THREE... 😱).

This lady is quite simply ... superwoman! πŸ¦Έβ€β™€οΈ

She completed over 1 million steps in 8 weeks (1,231,787 to be exact 😱) winning herself the Most Steps achieved. To put that into perspective, that's on average 22000 steps a day for 8 weeks!!!
How many of us struggle to reach the standard 10,000 steps a day... πŸ€”. Such an amazing gruelling effort, you smashed it!!

She also completed 130 continous Squat Jumps, an increase of 80, from her original 50 8 weeks prior... 😱.
AND... wait for it...

252 continuous (not a single break!!) of BURPEE's!!! 😱😲😱😲🀯🀯🀯

An increase of 232, from her original 20, 8 weeks prior.
Okay, things definitely got very competitive with the burpees, but nevertheless, she surpassed the realms of what we thought were achievable and yet again, wholly deserves to call herself winner of not only Squat Jumps but Burpees too!!

Lets talk Challenges πŸ’ͺ.

Every year at RBPT we run a spring challenge. The aim - to get ourselves out of winter hibernating mode and ready for summer 🌞.

This year the challenge ran through April and May, lasting 8 weeks. Designed to have many aspects suiting an array of ladies, this challenge was not for the faint of heart!

Included aspects consisted of...
Most Activity
Most Steps
Biggest reduction in Bodyfat
and
Strength, most Squat Jumps, Press ups, Burpees and Sit ups.

With a possibility of 7 different winners, all ladies tackled every aspect, despite maybe favoring one or two.

Firstly, I want to congratulate all those that took part, even if you were not a "winner". You are certainly not "losers". Your progress and achievements are 100% deserved, and deserve every bit as much recognition and praise. You smashed it ladies, I am super proud of you, as you should be yourselves πŸ’ͺπŸ’ͺπŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ˜˜πŸ˜˜.

After a gruelling 8 week challenge (more to come on that over this next week), a few of us treated ourselves to a well earned bit of pampering πŸ₯°.
Starting the day with an absolutely stunning gentle jog around Aldwark grounds and river, we then settled ourselves into the spa for abit of relaxation ☺️.
Then, after what is perfectly named the "life saving back massage", we had an 'ikkle nap in the relaxation room, before moving to the very quirky dining room for afternoon tea.

A genuine perfect day ☺️.
Well done for all your efforts during the challenge, now be prepared to work that afternoon tea off 😘πŸ’ͺ.

Hello All,
I haven't really been posting much recently (lots going on behind the scenes), however, yesterday something totally unexpected but truly lovely happened, and I wanted to share it with you all.

Yesterday, I received a 1 year gift from one of my lovely clients. Firstly, this was so incredibly thoughtful and unexpected ( I hadn't even realised it had been a year πŸ™ˆ) and secondly, she was thanking me for simply doing my job (which I adore).

However, it is her that has done ALL THE HARD WORK!!
When I say she has been a "model student", I really mean it. This lady has been incredible and I feel the world should acknowledge her achievements, her progress and use her as their inspiration for what can be achieved.

On the 21st May 2021, this lady joined RBPT feeling very anxious about herself, life and starting this journey. Unable to exercise in public, or even infront of her husband, she now absolutely bosses her fitness and is loving life.

On the 21st of May 2021 her statics were as follows..
Weight 81kgs
Body fat % 39%
Waist 92cm
Belly 116cm
Hips 114.5cm
Chest 99cm
Thigh 64cm
Upper Arm 34cm

On the 04th May 2022 her statics were now as follows..
Weight 68.4kgs A reduction of 22.6kgs 😱
Body fat % 30.7% A reduction of 8.3% 😱
Waist 77cms A reduction of 15cm 😱
Belly 90.5cm A reduction of 26.5cm 😱😱
Hips 102.5cm A reduction of 12.4cm 😱
Chest 90cm A reduction of 9cm 😱
Thigh 55.75cm A reduction of 8.25cm 😱
Upper Arm 29cm A reduction of 5cms 😱

IN TOTAL A LOSS OF 76.25CM FULLBODY!!

To put that in perspective, that's...
πŸ”ΉοΈ 3 stone 8 pound or 49.8lbs
πŸ”ΉοΈ3/4 of a metre in measurements or 4 dress sizes!!

And she's still going. Due to be measured and weighed again next week, she will not only have made more losses, but recently smashed over 100 squat jumps , 120 sit ups and 30 press ups.

Her achievements are a true testimony to her efforts and hardwork achieved over the whole year.

Therefore, I thank you lovely. Thank you for your support and belief in RBPT and thank you for being such a joy to train. It is honestly my pleasure 😘
