Our friends from Carlisle & Keswick were bk along with our juniors. There was a fantastic mix of ages & abilities & hopefully a good game of hockey for all.

It will be £5 to enter - teams will be drawn next wed! World Cup starts on Thursday 11th June.

Crikey it’s nearly 3 weeks since our junior presentation, when nearly 200 folks descended on the rugby club to celebrate our fabulous young ‘uns, from u8’s through to u16’s.

Lots of photo’s below for those who took away trophies for players, best attitude, most improved across the season and a medal (thank you Lakeland Laser Creations!) for every single player who are all absolute winners. They have done the club proud at the many festivals this season, it has been a joy to see them grow, improve and chatter, on and off the pitch!
Players who have represented the County also got a big whoop 💙.

The afternoon wasn’t just about players, we also gave massive applause to our young umpires who have blown the whistle at the festivals over the season, using their knowledge of the game to help games run smoothly - taking no prisoners especially when it’s younger brothers and sisters giving jip 🫣💪!

4 other full club awards were given out for Team, Volunteer and Club Person of the year, and the Mary Mann trophy which goes to 1 or more who embodies what we strive to achieve.

Can’t finish without saying a huge thank you to those who made food (amazing as always!) brought and bought for the raffle, and extended thanks to those same supporters who have travelled, stood in the rain all season 💚
