Wigton Squash Club Wigton Squash Club is a small, friendly sports club based in Wigton, Cumbria.

We have two courts for people to play squash and Squash57 (racketball) on and offer regular coaching, junior coaching, internal club leagues, competitions.

📆On Friday 25 September starting at 8pm a group of club players will be attemping to play squash for 24 hours
❤️Fundraising split between the British Heart Foundation and squash club funds
🏆Featuring a special guest opener + a club legends match to finish off the event

🌍 WORLD CLASS SQUASH COMES TO DUMFRIES! 🌎 Patrick Rooney (world ranking #45) and Will Salter (world ranking #146) are signed up to play at the MatchPoint Squash Dumfries Squash Open at Dumfries Sports Club - are you?

The 2 English pros are heading north of the border on Saturday May 16 to put on a show for us in the A Grade event - but you don’t need to be world class to be part of it!

It’s a graded tournament so players of all skill levels and experience are guaranteed competitive matches and a great experience. Then grab a drink from our bar and watch some top level players battle it out!

Yesterday, the club’s senior team season officially came to an end. We handed back the Div 2 and ‘B’ League Cup trophies won from the 2024/25 season to their new winners.

The club competed in the Racketball plate match against a Carlisle team, losing by the narrowest of margins on a points count back. A top effort from our team on the day: Adam Gill, Andrew Thwaite, Rachael Irving and Stu Borthwick.

It brings to an end a really tough season with a team that was hampered by injuries and other unavailability - but one that fought valiantly up and down the county on a Tuesday evening.

As well as the team who played yesterday, thanks to all the other members who wore the Green jersey this season 💚

What a day… and what a season. Yesterday we clinched Cumbria’s B League Cup, adding to the division 2 title we won a few weeks ago meaning we’ve done the double! 🏆🏆

What an incredible season, which has seen some fantastic performances, epic comebacks s and a whole load of laughs. Well done Adam Gill, Molly Tweddle, Sam Harrison, Andrew Thwaite, Guy Huxtable, Rachael Kennon and Martin Cockroft on another brilliant season.

Yesterday also saw our racketball team compete in the 3-4 playoff with Penrith Squash & Racketball Club with Penrith coming out very worthy winners.

Thank you to Cumbria Squash and Carlisle Squash Club for hosting a wonderful cup finals day yesterday.
