The firsts just about beat the rain on Saturday and came away with all 10 points against . A strong all-round bowling performance restricted the visitors to 113, and 40’s from both Matty and Cam helped us knock it off 3 down.

The seconds had a tough day at the office as they travelled to Langholm Cricket Club - however there were positives to take with the bowling, Dave with 3 wickets and Craig & Seth with 2 each.

On Sunday, the Colts welcomed Keswick Cricket Club in a game that went right down to the wire. Batting first, we posted 185/8, which included a maiden 50 from Seth👏In reply, Keswick took the game deep and won with 4 balls left, Andy with 4 wickets and Seth with 3.

The firsts advanced to the semi finals of the Sowerby Cup on Saturday with a win over - a good all round bowling performance saw us bowl the visitors out for 117, Jack taking 3 wickets. An unbeaten 64 from .westmorland helped knock their total off 2 down. We will face Lanercost in the next round.

The seconds travelled to and unfortunately came away with defeat. Being bowled out for 67 was always going to be a tough ask to defend, although we did pick up a bonus point in the process thanks to a wicket each from & Seth.

The Colts were the only side to complete their game last weekend as the firsts got rained off on Saturday.

A good batting display saw us reach 205, with contributions from Matty, George & Seth. In reply, Staffield got close but finished 17 runs short, George Seth & Andy all taking 2 wickets each.
