π₯ Are You Drinking Enough Water? π₯΅
When the weather warms up, it's easy to become dehydrated without even realising it.
Even mild dehydration can cause: π¦ Headaches π¦ Tiredness and low energy π¦ Muscle cramps π¦ Dizziness π¦ Poor concentration π¦ Dry skin and dry mouth
π§ So, how much should you drink? β
Women: Around 2 litres of fluid a day (about 8 glasses) β
Men: Around 2.5 litres of fluid a day (about 10 glasses)
Remember, you'll need more if you're: βοΈ Spending time in the sun π Exercising πͺ Doing physical work π€ Feeling unwell
π A simple hydration check: π‘ Pale straw-coloured urine usually means you're well hydrated. π Dark yellow or amber urine is a sign you may need to drink more fluids.
π Don't wait until you're thirstyβthat's often your body's way of telling you you're already becoming dehydrated.
Keep a bottle of water nearby, sip regularly throughout the day, and look after your bodyβespecially during the warmer months. ππ§
