Cllrs celebrate Aspull Snakepits former world champion
Chris Lomas - Volunteer, Wrestler recognised for his community work

Chris is the absolute backbone of the gym and has been for many years. After dad’s stroke Chris not only continued to be an above and beyond friend . He also took over all the weekly classes and invested endless hours of time keeping the club running. He also is part of our constituted group for 1717 which was set up after we lost a dear friend and wrestler who took his own life in 2019.
Chris is a very experienced high level psychotherapist and having him on the committee for this is invaluable and we are very blessed to have him at our club.
Chris has also competed and won the Snake pit worlds twice putting
Snake pit and catch on the map.
Chris is very humble and many wouldn’t know just what an incredible person he is at the club so I thought I’d share
Cllr Ron Conway commented a massive thanks to Chris who puts so much work into the club and the young residents and always under the radar
