Bakewell Oat Cake
here’s to another healthier option cake bar. There’s no added sugar and it’s quick and easy to make.
This Bakewell oat cake is packed with protein, healthy fats and fruit, you can eat it for breakfast, a mid morning snack or serve it as a desert.
It’s absolutely delicious and tastes much nicer that sugary puddings.

Recipe
Bakewell oat cake
3 cups of oats (Aldi organic kavanagh’s)
4 tbs flax seeds (Aldi)
2 tbs chai seeds (Aldi)
1 tbs Mixed seeds (Aldi)
1 tbs almond extract (Tesco)
50g ground almonds (Tesco)
200g Greek yoghurt (Aldi Brooklea % fat)
4 scoops vanilla protein powder (applied vanilla)
300g fresh pitted cherries
1 cup oat milk (milkman) use any preferred
Mix all the ingredients together, pop it in the oven at 180* for approximately 20-25mins.
Bake until it’s nice and brown on top.
Serve with coconut yogurt of whatever you fancy!
If you would like it sweeter serve with a little
Drizzle of Skinny syrup over the top 👌
