Today I had a skater try ONE Blades EDGE that is normally skating on a three-wheel setup, and it reminded me who our frame is for.
Our frame is not for skaters that have gotten used to two balance zones and being pitched forward. It is for ice figure skaters who have never skated on inline figure skating frames at all.
Watching her trying to perform twizzles and turns pitched forward on the front two wheels was interesting to see, as she has had to adapt to a three-wheel setup. Only when I told her to do it on the centre wheels did it make sense for her. She said she really liked how they are to skate on.
Here is a video from Lukasz's very first day on wheels where I told him to skate like you would on ice.
For me, this is how inline figure skating should look. It should look just like you are on ice.
Even though it was Lukasz's very first day, he still wanted to try triples. Of course, going from ice to wheels, there is going to be an adjustment to timing and technique. Yet he was still very close to landing triples, and without a doubt, with a few more trainings, he would have triples.
Over the next months, I really want to find a couple more skaters that want to show what is possible on ONE Blades EDGE. There is a massive opportunity to really push inline figure skating now we have the right equipment. There is a reason everyone has been skating on three wheels, because there wasn't a four wheel like I have created, which is the whole reason that I created it.
Ideally, I am looking for a male and a female skater that are performing at a very high level on ice that want a unique opportunity to work directly with ONE Blades.

The best scenario is a male and a female in the same location where I can fly out for a week, and we can create some incredible videos together. You will, of course, get your very own ONE Blades edge system. Also, you would become the key marketing for ONE Blades.
