Roy Wood is our Head Coach and trained under the great Billy Riley. He is one of the most respected wrestling coaches in the world and carrying on Billy's legacy was given to Roy Wood. Billy also coached Billy Robinson, Karl Gotch and many other great Catch Wrestlers. Roy runs seminars and training weeks at "The Snake Pit" and hosts the Snake Pit Catch Wrestling World Championships. Catch accredi

Classes during the week are split according to age. The adult sessions being the later session on Monday and Wednesday. Thursday and Friday are adult only 18 + as they are specifically Catch Wrestling.

Congratulations on completing his level 6 coaching this weekend.

Rikk has put the time in to work through the accreditations and also learning his coaching alongside them. He takes some classes when he travels up to the gym and helps on workshops.

Using a key part of snake pit catch wrestling ( Mat wrestling ) to defend against the 3/4 Nelson and the submissions that can come off it. This is the counter to a 3/4 in to arm bar submission
