Exploring Longleat.

It's been quite a year of MiRiDER adventures for Community member Neil. One of his highlights was a trip to explore Longleat, the first safari park to be established outside Africa.

Longleat is set in 1,000 acres of parkland landscaped by Capability Brown, along with 4,000 acres of farmland and 4,000 acres of woodland, which includes a Center Parcs holiday village. It was the first stately home to open to the public, and other attractions, including a hedge maze. Sounds like it's well worth a visit.

3,000 miles in 24 months

Using his MiRiDER 24 for a daily commute into London, Community member Laurence is delighted with his travel companion, telling us, "After this morning’s commute, after 2 years, I’ve hit 3,000 miles on my MiRiDER 24. I’ve had to change the tyres and brake pads during that time (obviously). It’s been a superb ride for my 28-mile round-trip journey into central London. Battery degradation has been minimal, and it still charges to about 41.7* or so". (*42v is maximum)

We love learning how our ebikes are performing for our owners and Community, and here's to many more reliable miles ahead for Laurence. We thank him for sharing his feedback.

Gearing up for the NEC

Team MiRiDER are already hard at work preparing bikes & accessories for our exhibition stand at the NEC Caravan Shows, the UK’s biggest campervan, motorhome & caravan showcase that starts next Tuesday, 13th.

We'd love to welcome you in Hall 12, stand 12.75 to chat all things MiRiDER, and to catch up with members (and future members) of our Community.

Exploring the Grand Union Canal

Community member Phil has been travelling sections of this principal navigable waterway between London and the Midlands. Did you know that the Birmingham Canal alone is 137 miles with 166 locks? It's an incredible piece of engineering.

A watersports (and cycling) haven.

Hayling Island, accessed via a road bridge from Langstone in Hampshire, was where the sport of windsurfing was invented. Plus, it's hosted multiple watersports World Championships.

Most recently, Community member Jeannie took a 20-mile round trip to explore the island on a glorious riding day.

Community member Andy recently purchased two MiRiDER 16 GB3 models. He's a keen cyclist, often covering 150 miles per week unassisted, so to receive high praise of his latest acquisitions means a lot "I love the bike for short commutes into the next town or using when away in the camper van"
