e its inception in 2005, Mid Lancs Sub Aqua Club has continued to grow and flourish. From the beginning, Mid Lancs Sub Aqua Club has made provision to accept members from the age of 12 in accordance with BSAC guidelines, and is also proud to have a number of junior scuba diving members within the club. There’s never a shortage of dive buddies within the club, as virtually every weekend and even on occasions during mid week club members are going diving. Mid Lancs Sub Aqua Club also boasts 5 nationally qualified instructors (collectively with in excess of 35 years of instructional experience), and one of which was voted BSAC Advanced Instructor of the year. Based centrally in the North West region, Mid Lancs Sub Aqua club provides opportunities for Scuba diving around the Wigan , Chorley , Standish, and Horwich areas. Friendships are formed and member’s families are welcome to the activities of Mid-Lancs Sub Aqua Club, which don’t stop at scuba diving. We regularly arrange social events such as meals out, barbecues, camping, white water rafting to name but a few. The Club meets every Monday night at about 20:00 at the Unity Club in Standish.
