๐ U8s Match Report ๐
This weekend, we were delighted to welcome Orrell St James and Chorley Panthers to the Bulldogs for a fantastic morning of rugby!
It was at times a tough outing for our U8s, but there were plenty of positives to take away and lots to be proud of!
The players showed great determination throughout and, despite facing strong opposition, there were some excellent passages of play where the team really put into practice what weโve been working on in training.
The support play was particularly pleasing to see, with players looking for teammates, working together and showing a growing understanding of how important teamwork is in rugby. There were some fantastic individual moments, but what stood out most was the willingness of the whole squad to support one another, communicate and keep battling until the final whistle.
As always, there is plenty for us to work on and improve, and thatโs all part of the learning process at this age. The players continue to learn every week, and it was great to see so many of the skills and ideas from training starting to appear in match situations.
A huge well done to all the players for their effort, commitment and team spirit, and thank you to Orrell St James and Chorley Panthers for some competitive, enjoyable rugby played in the right spirit. We look forward to seeing you again soon ๐
