Heartbreak for the Sharks in this mornings tournament narrowly losing in the final in a game we could have won.
Only conceded 1 goal all tournament while scoring plenty ourselves.
Fantastic effort from them all and even tho there was a few tears at the end they should all be so proud of themselves because I know I am. Massive improvement from the whole team over the course of the season.

What a fantastic day for our Under 8s Wolves at their very first tournament! 🏆⚽

The team showed incredible effort, teamwork and determination throughout the day, finishing as runners-up after some brilliant performances. Most importantly, the players had fun, made memories and represented the club brilliantly.

A huge well done to every player and thank you to all the parents and supporters for their encouragement throughout the day. The future looks bright! 💙⚽🥈

Our u6s Presentation - night at the bowling

Great night for our u6s presentation at Wigan bowling, some great scores.
Shout out Jackson who was a team winner even though he had to vacate early for an A&E trip after a bang to the head 🙈❤️

The group are now ready to step up to the u7s next season.

A great finish to the season for our U14s!

The boys played a playoff game for 3rd place in their division and came away with a fantastic win. With only 10 men, the game was always going to be tough, but once again the team showed incredible determination, worked hard for each other, and never gave up.

A brilliant way to end what has been a fantastic season. Proud of every single player! ⚽👏

Wigan Town Sharks

What a way to end the season. Absolutely brilliant from all of them today. We dominated from the 1st whistle. Sharks started the game brightly and created numerous chances and finally got their reward halfway through the 1st half. Ashton then had a 5 minute spell and got 3 quick goals. We took back control and hit back with 2 before halftime to go in 3-3 at the break.

2nd half was all sharks playing our best football and our final 2 goals are our best of the season.
Xavi played Hendo through 1 on 1 with the keeper but he very unselfishly knocked it around the keeper to Ryan for a tap in. Our last goal must have had at least 7/8 passes involved in it. A superb team goal.

MOTM went to Ryan. Passing machine this lad and had 4/5 assists today.
