What a fantastic morning, PBs flying everywhere! With smiling faces all round.

A huge congratulations to all our runners! And a massive thank you to everyone who cheered us on, encouraged us and helped make the morning so special.

Tomorrow is Wigan 10K! 🎉

A huge good luck to all our amazing Robin Park Runners, and to everyone taking part. Whatever your goal is tomorrow, remember one thing…This is your race! 💛🖤
We’ll be near the café, up the steps from the fountain, so if you see us, come over and say hello! We’ll be there cheering, supporting and making plenty of noise.

Thursday night was our final training run before the Wigan 10K on Sunday! 🙌

That’s the beauty of running as a group.

MEMBER OF THE MONTH — LOUISE! 🏆

This month we’re celebrating someone who has really stepped up and shown what commitment, consistency and believing in yourself can achieve.
Louise has increased her training to three runs a week, pushed herself out of her comfort zone and is now even embracing those rainy runs!

And it’s showing. She’s looking stronger, fitter and more confident with every run, and it’s been brilliant to watch her progress. 👏
With the Wigan 10K and Great North Run on the horizon, all those miles, all that effort and all those moments when she’s pushed through are going to count.

We genuinely believe Louise is ready to smash some PBs at GNR — and we’ll be cheering her on every step of the way 🙌
Louise, all your hard work is taking you somewhere amazing.
Go smash it! 💛🖤

The Sunday crew enjoyed a lovely run this morning in the sunshine. A few miles, plenty of smiles and the perfect way to start the day. Followed by a well-earned coffee at the Cotton Works.

This Saturday is the last week, so it’s time to get those final points in 👀 let’s finish the league with a bang 💥

And of course, amongst all the races, training, fundraising and Parkrun competition, there’s still what RPR does best…
Running together, supporting each other and having a good laugh along the way. 🖤💛

THURSDAY RUN UPDATE ☀️ We hate to say it… but Thursday’s run is CANCELLED!

Safety is always our priority, and with temperatures still too high, it’s important that we don’t put our runners or volunteers at unnecessary risk. Running in extreme heat can place extra strain on the body and increase the risk of dehydration and heat-related illness.

We know it’s disappointing, but sometimes the sensible decision is to sit one out. Stay cool and keep hydrated! we’ll see you soon!
