We dont often do this... But lets take a second to appreciate those men in the middle!
Todays Referee Lucas did an awesome job in the middle of our 2 Senior Academy games today!
We know - its not the knock ons or dropped ball or mistakes made by our/opposition players.. its always the refs fault hey?
No its not! Its those in the middle who let our great game go ahead.. so lets take a moment to thank those like Lucas who ensure our game flows and take a minute to think before commenting- our ref has parents too who are often stood on the sidelines beside you!
The easiest thing in the world is to blame an official when quite a lot of the time we all make mistakes which are overlooked!
Lets take a moment to Respect the Ref - after all without them there is no game!

Our 2025 annual awards about to start!

As the season ends, our societies focus now switches to WRLRS annual awards being held at Wigan St Patricks A.R.L.F.C on the 7th February!
This gives us the opportunity to recognise the amazing achievements of our brave and talented officials throughout the 2025 season!

More award nominees will be released soon!
