💚🖤🩷 FINAL WEEK OF THE SEASON 🖤💚🩷
As we head into our final week before the summer break, it’s fair to say this season hasn’t gone the way any of us had hoped.
Unfortunately, it’s been a frustrating year with a lack of game time for the girls. Too many fixtures have been cancelled, and with having to work around the P2P programme and the Talent Hub, we’ve struggled to get the consistency that every player deserves. Despite that, the girls have continued to turn up, train hard, stay committed, and never let their enthusiasm drop. We couldn’t be prouder of every single one of them.
This week isn’t about drills, tactics or results it’s about enjoying ourselves, celebrating the friendships we’ve built, and finishing the season with smiles on our faces. We’ll be swapping the rugby boots for a Slip ‘N’ Slide, water rounders, plenty of laughs, and making some fantastic memories together! 🌞💦
I also want to personally say a massive thank you to all of our parents, grandparents, families and supporters. Your patience, commitment and support throughout what has been a very challenging season has meant everything to the coaching staff and, most importantly, to the girls. Whether it’s travelling to training, supporting from the sidelines, or simply keeping the girls motivated, we truly appreciate every one of you.
Now it’s time for everyone to enjoy a well-earned summer break before we come back refreshed and ready for the next challenge.
The focus then turns to the Cup competition, and we’re already excited about rejoining the Premier Division next season, where hopefully the girls can enjoy regular, competitive rugby and continue the fantastic progress they’ve made.
The future is bright for this group, and we can’t wait to see what they achieve together.
