This Drowning Prevention Week, we’re recognising our amazing lifeguard team. Through endless training and dedication, they stay ready to respond to any emergency and help keep everyone safe in and around the water.

🛟 Remember: If you ever get into difficulty in the pool, stay calm and shout for help. Our lifeguards are there to help and respond quickly when assistance is needed.

🛟 DROWNING PREVENTION WEEK! 🛟
Today, we were delighted to welcome the Cheshire Fire Crew, who visited our primary school pupils to teach vital water safety and lifesaving skills.
The children learned how to Float to Live, along with other important techniques that could help save lives in an emergency. They took part enthusiastically and gained valuable knowledge about staying safe in and around water.
A huge thank you to the Cheshire Fire Crew for delivering such an engaging and informative session and helping our pupils build confidence and awareness around water safety.

To celebrate Drowning Prevention Week, we’re inviting children to take part in our fun colouring competition!

🖍️ Pick up a colouring sheet, get creative, and return your masterpiece by Saturday 20th June

🎁 The winner will receive a fantastic goodie bag!

This is a great opportunity to learn about water safety while having fun and showing off your artistic skills.

📍 How to enter:
• Collect a colouring sheet from Halton Leisure centre or Brookvale Recreation centre
• Colour it in and add your name and age
• Return it by Saturday 20th June

Children must be in a stage 7+ ( Purple and Silver hats ) class to take park in the rookie lifeguard sessions, these sessions are free for our swimmers on swimming lessons

Please note the following changes to our pool timetable:

✅ Aqua Fit has moved from Wednesday morning to Thursday at 12:00pm

✅ Wednesday mornings are now available for General Swim from 9:00am
