Last night, we saw our end of season awards.
HB Wolves U15s Presentation.
It was a fantastic night celebrating everything the lads have done during the season. Parents enjoying q well earned pint and also the coaches. I couldn't be any more prouder of these boys with the turnaround they have had since last season. Finishing the season Champions of WJFL Premier Division & President Cup Winners.
They lost their opening game of the season and then went on not to lose a single game for the rest. Scoring 84 goals and conceding 30 in 20 league games. Immensely proud of their attitude and mentatlity but also the way we played our football. Win or lose, the lads development is key. Turning into great footballers and bright young men.

Last game of the season yesterday for the boys and what a performance.
9-1 win v Shevington.
The boys were ruthless in their game play today. Aggressive on the press and unselfish in making the chances to score the goals. This game tops off a great season from the boys. Their attitude and togetherness have really grown and has shown in the results. From losing the opening game of the season to then being unbeaten for the rest. I couldn't be any prouder of the lads.
M.O.M.
Mason - wherever he was put today, he was dangerous. His direct pace was far too hot to handle. He assisted 4 goals and scored 2 goals which 1 was a rocket of a finish.
Youssef - been fantastic for weeks, deserved his 2 goals today. He was such a presence on corners and was solid in his defence.

Players Wanted!

As the season is closing in. We look to add to our squad for the upcoming season. The team is looking to add a max of 3 players to boost our depth and strength. After a fantastic season doing the league and cup double, we look to continue to grow with a clear direction of advancing the boys into the open age pathway. We are looking to challenge again for both competitions.

Training Thursdays on 3G and playing Saturdays in WJFL Premier Division. A good enjoyable environment but also one to try and develop our understanding in football

Another great performance by the boys tonight.
4-2 win v Earlestown Celtics
They looked very comfortable across the pitch today. Moved the ball well and looked in control when in possession. You could see their threat was pace over the top and i think they dealt with that very well. Attacking wise we looked really good. Good link up play and a lot of chances made again.

Thomas - fantastic in midfield once again. Positionally outstanding and always calm on the ball
Jackson - Great to see him in the middle getting on the ball, drove with it and got us up the field quick. Always involved in the play.
Liam - mixed up his gameplay really well today. Creating plenty of chances for him and his team mates. Took his 2 goals well.

We keep chipping away at the points. Hoping a win on saturday clinches the league 🙏

Well done to the boys tonight
1-1 draw with Hindley. A team that's been in form recently. I thought we controlled the majority of the game, had most of the ball, and created plenty of chances. We just couldn't find the back of the net, or the keeper made a great save. Our own error gave them a chance to get on the score sheet. The lads have been excellent this season, and we keep chipping away at the games.

8-2 win v Earlestown Thistle
It was a fantastic achievement from the lads today. Ruthless from the off, some great team goals and also individual efforts. The lads' intensity and tempo were high and didn't give the opposition to breathe on the ball. In possession attacking the final third, we was very good in our 1v1 battles, constantly keeping the opposition guessing how we was going to attack them. Equally solid at the back, seen our boys bring back home the trophy.

League M.O.M. was given to:
Lewis - deadly all game down the right. Worked his socks off, off the ball and when he was on the ball, we looked like we was going to score every time. Topped his game off by scoring a fantastic 40 yarder.

A great achievement by all of the team who deserved the day of celebrations today.
