The Association of Professional Bit and Bridle Fitters (APBBF) is promoting a message of unity in welfare surrounding horse tack, whether bitless or bitted, as it announces its official relaunch.

The APBBF is striving to make equine comfort and science-based fitting the standard for every horse, regardless of the equipment used, and maintains that their comfort needs — like protecting sensitive nerves, managing poll pressure, and allowing free movement — are always the same.

✅We have increased the timeframe for booked first aid training from 3 months to 6 months.

✅We want to ensure you have enough time outside of your busiest seasons to focus on your clients. This allows our members to comfortably gain their training during the slightly quieter months.

Looking Ahead to 2027! We are also hard at work developing reduced-cost training solutions for both professional fitters and our associate paraprofessionals.
