Amazing surprise presented to us today. 7707 Team Leader Geoff Stilwell commissioned model maker Ken Duke to make each of us a scale model of the ‘No Quarter’ Fiat from wood! Thanks very much guys!

Look at the pic. We have run most of these actual injectors over the last 20 years but some of them have run on altereds before. In the comment section on this post (on the ‘No Quarter’ page), tell us on which altered each of these actual injectors (that we now own) was FIRST seen. Simple? Maybe…..

Eligibility. Entrants must be followers / subscribers to the ‘No Quarter’ page.

All correct entries will be put into a hat and the winner randomly drawn before the European Finals where the t-shirt can be collected (alternative collection at the Hot Rod Drags the week after).

BURNOUT OF THE WEEKEND!?

How about THAT for a burnout?! Nick and the gang really know how to put on a show with their incredibly short-wheel-based nitro-burning altered! 🔥

They run in the new class “OSCARs” or the “Old School Classic Altered Racers”.

Currently we have 2 Altereds running in the class but there are a handful in the work shop and this class is only going to grow - and we cannot wait!

Old School Classic Altered Racers! An absolute house favourite since the class began, Nick Davies in his short wheelbase Topolino Fuel Altered ‘No Quarter’ showing us exactly how it’s done with the smokiest of burnouts!

Nick set a new record during the weekend for the small but new class, taking the car into the 6s with an impressive terminal speed of 218mph 💥💥💥

Badass chrome bodied old school nitro Hemi powered altered running down the 1/4 mile, what’s not to love? 🔥🔥🔥

So, what a weekend, culminating in the 218 pass. So much more than we could have hoped for except the data said it was possible, but the data doesn’t reflect the car style.
It is proving to be everything that we hoped, just a bit more power. The blower makes more boost than we anticipated with its age and it’s almost like the Bantam but quite a bit shorter and more ‘involving’….
Huge thanks to all involved in the build and running of the car and to everyone who has been so enthusiastic and supportive since its debut. Huge thanks too to Bryan, Ian and the High Spirits team for joining the party. We knew it would never be the fastest but it’s up there for entertainment. Keep buying the t-shirts to help us keep running it. Support the OSCARS!!!
