The course is a traditional 18 hole Links

layout consisting 9 holes out and 9 back to the clubhouse. The Fairways are generous and fast running, with firm and true links greens. The course is playable all year round with rarely any winter greens in operation so it's always a fair test of your game. There are many spectacular views around the course with possibly the best saved for
the 18th tee, which offers a stunning panorama of Sinclair Bays unspoiled white sands and it's four Historic Castles which overlook the sea.

SENIORS - BILLY RICHARD TROPHY

14 Seniors played in today's Bill Richard's Trophy. The weather was decent and it was relatively warm. Scoring overall was solid and competitive if not spectacular. The man who accumulated the most points was David Brims with 36 points who pipped Robert Klimas on the same total. 3rd place went to Pat Miller with 35 points.

Well done guys!

SUMMER LEAGUE 2026 - ROUND 1

Despite the recent horrendous rain showers the weather stayed pretty nice for most of the day. Tonight in particular was really calm and pleasant to play in.

Round 1 was using the Stableford Format, two players went big and scored 44 + 41 points respectfully. The winner on a smashing 44 points was Lara Campbell. 2nd place went to one of our newest members who is progressing well and attempting to feature in as many comps as possible... the practice is playing off, well done Mike Scott on 41 points. 3rd place 3 shots behind went to Ewan Mackenzie 38points.

Well done guys.

Full scores Gross + Nettcan be accessed on Masterscoreboard.

Next up is round 2 of the Club Championship, on Sun 21st.

CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFYING ROUND 1 - SAT 13th June

Today's conditions were BRUTAL!!! Rain and wind in the morning and a howling gale in the afternoon/early evening. Of the 40 participants 13 x NR'd!

This was reflected in today's scoring. ANYONE who kept it together for the front 9, was in with a chance on the back 9.

The best of which came from Roy Page with a cracking 79/69, 2nd place was James Harrold 90/71 and 3rd was Alan Farqhaur with a 89/72.... experience pays gentlemen, the Seniors showed how it was done! Well done guys, those were very tough conditions, we are hoping for calmer conditions the next two weekends.

One man who isn't a Senior and managed to grind his way round in another tremendous score of 72 was Lowest Gross - Gordie Steven 72. A round reminiscent of last year in similar conditions! Well done man, that sort of fight will be needed in the Wilson Cup... so keep it up!

Next Wednesday sees the start if the Summer League (Yellow Tees) before returning to the Whites for next Sunday's Club Championship Qualifying Round 2.

Thanks.
