We are excited to announce that our Summer Camp bookings go live this Friday 12th June at 5pm.

Our camps are open to both members and non-members.

Thank you to Lauren & Kelsey for mentoring our team gym coaches, and to Sophie, Leah and Suzanne who assisted in this process… while working towards 4 exams themselves!! 😬 Super team work from everyone.

This is a HUGE step for our club, and we want to take the opportunity to thank all of our gymnasts, the examiners - Emma & Amanda, and Scottish Gymnastics. Along with Caithness and North Sutherland Fund which allowed the club to invest in our coaching team this past year, setting it up for the future ❤️

All the hard work in and out of the gym has absolutely paid off, and each coach should be so proud of themselves!! 👏

What’s next…. The coaches are already scheming their next set of qualifications 🤸🤭 (once we have had a wee rest!!!)

Over the weekend, 18 of our Development & Squad gymnasts competed at the Scottish Gymnastics Summer Extravaganza in East Kilbride.

All gymnasts performed beautiful, clean floor routines and really powerful vaults, and the coaches couldn’t be prouder of how well they represented North Apex.

The standard was high and we received a number top 10 placings alongside very high scores across all categories 🌟

📣 We’re Hiring – Treasurer (Paid Role) 📣

North Apex Gymnastics Club is looking for a dedicated and organised individual to join our team as Treasurer!

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain valuable experience in a financial role while supporting a growing gymnastics club🤸‍♀️

💼 Role: Treasurer (Paid Position)

👉🏻Role Description:

You will work closely with Trustees and coaches to ensure all payments are processed accurately and on time.

You’ll record financial transactions and use this information to complete an OSCR accounting form, which will be passed to a professional accountant to compile the official club accounts.

👉🏻Core Duties/Responsibilities

The club treasurer is responsible for:
• Paying expense claims in line with club policy
• Paying invoices
• Paying coaches’ wages and transferring associated tax to HMRC
• Monitoring receipt of payments from parents for competitions
• Tracking fundraising income
• Tracking display costs, deducting fundraising, and calculating parent fees in line with policy
• Monitoring bank accounts and grouping credits and debits on monthly ledgers
• Completing the OSCR account template
• Providing the accountant with the OSCR template, backing ledgers, receipts, invoices, and bank statements
• Managing and monitoring cash flow, including tracking income and expenditure

⏱️ Time Commitment

Duties vary throughout the year but typically take around 6–8 hours per month.
