Caithness Boxing Club – Summer Break

🗓 New season starts now! 🗓

First session back will be this Thursday and then we hit the new season running, so tonights session is not on chaps.

Speaking of running, great sessions from our registered boxers over the break. Interclub sparring hosted by HBA in Inverness, good testing ground for the start of our competitive squad.

Also, took a few of our boxers out to Dunnet beach and introduced them to beach runs and dune sprints. No shortcuts in boxing! 💪😂

See you all soon, get your wraps washed for Thursday and mouthguards fitted 😤

Bag drills, counterpunching drills and movement with counterpunch drills to defend against the jab.

🥊 Caithness Boxing Club – Summer Break ☀️

Just a quick update for all our members!

The club will be taking a 2-week summer break from Monday 20th July until Monday 3rd August. This gives everyone a chance to rest, recover, and come back ready for another great block of training. 💪

📅 For this final week before the break:❗

Tonights Tuesday's session will instead take place on Wednesday at the same times. Please make sure to come along on tomorrow, not tonight 😁.

Thanks to everyone for your hard work and commitment—we hope you all have a fantastic break, and we'll see you back in the gym after the holidays, ready to get back to it! 🥊🔥

Working on staying disciplined while throwing the jab in Tuesday session. Kids session worked really well, improving coordination and going over the fundamentals.

6x3 minute rounds for sparring and bags left the gym a little sweaty round the edges. Drills and core circuit to finish off. Hard graft from the Teenage/Adults and shout out to Lori who performed exceptionally well for her first time at the club 😁🥊

Had a great time at the harbour day, introducing some parts of boxing to no small number of people most of which had never tried it before. Great reviews and a good experience for everyone.

We will be down at the Harbour around 2:30pm to answer questions and put on some boxing displays.

Tough session for the class last night! We started off strong with some penalty burpees for equipment left lying around 💪

The core circuit seemed to be a real fan favourite too... or at least that's what I gathered from all the sweat and bleary eyes 😂 Don't worry, there'll be plenty more of those coming your way!

Shout-out to all the new starts at the club 👏🥊 We've had some seriously good talent coming through recently, and the work ethic has been just as impressive. Great to see!

Special mention to Sarah who worked hard through her first session, barely broke a sweat. And to Joseph for helping take the new starts through the basics and making them feel welcome. Top lad 👏

Keep up the hard work, everyone — it's paying off! 💯👊
