OysterCoast WaterSports delivers RYA courses with a small group of friendly, very keen and professional RYA instructors, providing high quality courses for the novice through to the more experienced person. We deliver courses as an RYA Recognised Training Centre, awarding RYA certificates to successful candidates, who achieve the required standard, at the end of all RYA courses. OysterCoast Water
Sports operates from the popular town of Whitstable on the North Kent coast. The Thames Estuary provides some challenging boating, not only will you learn great seamanship skills but you will advance your sailing and power boating skills in a beautiful part of the South East. We are an enthusiastic crowd, and have a large amount of kit, on hand. We run numerous courses and are often over subscribed, so please do not leave this to the last minute to book up. We have links to other sports like Canoeing, Sea Kayaking, Kite surfing, Windsurfing, and even the latest sport of SUP (stand up paddle boarding).. We open for hire 7 days a week when it is summer school holidays, spring and autumn we open at the weekends if it is warm, please call before coming to make sure we are open
We have a class room over looking the sea, so even if the weather is mean you are nice and close to get straight on the water when the weather breaks. As a Royal Yachting Association Recognised Training Centre (RYA) we provide Dinghy, Powerboat, Personal Water Craft and Windsurfing training to RYA Standards. OysterCoast WaterSports is a facility providing activities all year. Being available most weekends and opening whenever required, usually from 0900 until 1700, extending during the summer months until sunset and during hours of darkness for specific courses i.e. Advanced Powerboat.
