3 out today on the Art of Boxing show, 2 skills and a bout. First up was Koby Moon who was initially down as a bout but was moved to a skills, this helped us out alot as Koby has been struggling with flu all week and on antibiotics to try and shake it, he wasnt his best and definitely struggled with his opponents height and southpaw stance, not his best performance but its all experience in the bank for him and things to work on next time. Kai Rochester up next in a skills and he boxed very well, using his range, jab and footwork to great effect in a really good bout.

Connor Brown up last and after a slow start where he stood too much with his aggressive opponent, he was able to adjust through 2 and 3 to take the win on points. Big thank you to George and Art of Boxing for the invite, cracking show 🥊

We had our first show of the season yesterday evening and it was another packed show of amateur boxing, 17 bouts in total, only 4 of ours in action with Kai, Koby and Dylan unable to box for different reasons and we had 2 winners from our 4 in some very good bouts. We started the evening with the ten bells to pay respects to the very sad passing of Dan Heggs, who passed away this week, our condolences to Dan's family and friends.

First up for us was Karl Brickland who was boxing for the first time in 8 years and up 10kg from where he originally boxed, a cracking bout between two good boxers, the win going to Karl but we felt it should have gone the other way. Next up we had Douglas Miles, in his first full bout, really good contest, we felt he did enough but it went the other way. Our Liam Brooks-Usher was up next and he lost out in his bout with a very familiar opponent, the third time these two have met, the previous 2 going in favour of Liam but this wasn't his night. Lastly Connor Brown and he boxed very well to take the win in the last bout of the evening.

Massive thank you to everyone in attendance, a huge crowd as always, to everyone from the club for helping out on the night, the support is invaluable and to all the officials, boxers and coaches who made the journey and continue to volunteer their time to our great sport a huge thank you to you all, we will see you at the next show 🥊

8th and last skills tonight for Koby Moon on the Kemsing ABC show, great little bout between the two boxers and another good performance from Koby. Next season he will move onto bouts as he turns 11 in August and hopefully another busy season for him.

This was also our last show of the season and so we will rest up and get started for next season.

Big thank you to Kenny and Kemsing ABC for the invite and another great show 🥊

Skills bout for Douglas Miles today to open the tournament at the London ABA International Belt Tournament, great performance from him too.

Our Joe Waddingham was also due to box in his semi final but unfortunately his opponent withdrew and so Joe progresses to tomorrow's final where we have 4 boxers competing 🥊
