⚽️Thanet U13’s welcomed Gravesham district today in the Wimbledon Challenge Cup. An 8-0 win sees them undefeated at home. Another fantastic whole team performance with the boys all working hard for each other 👏👏⚽️👏👏. A big thanks to Whistable Town FC for their fabulous facilities.

After a season plagued by injuries, this lovely bunch of boys won 3-1 against a very strong Ashford district today with some fantastic team play. This sees us secure second place in the league and a place straight through to the semi-finals which will be against Brighton 👏👏👏⚽️⚽️

Thanet district U13s looking happy after their first home game with a 2-1 win against a strong Canterbury district side today with goals from Sonny Hulme and Louie Bird. ⚽️⚽️Looking forward to our away game next week to Shepway.

FOOTBALL FUTURES TO RUN THANET U13 DISTRICT TEAM

We are delighted to announce we have agreed a partnership with Thanet District for the season 2022/2023 to run their U13 district side.

This is an exciting partnership working with some of the best talent in Thanet.

A trial will be held this Saturday 9th July to select the new squad for next season.

Date: Saturday 9th July
Time: 11:30-12:30
Location: Ramsgate Football Club, Stadium, CT11 0AN
Surface: 3G

This is open to current year 7 players going into year 8 from September 2022, all players must attend a secondary school in Thanet.

Thanet couldn’t quite make it 2 finals in 2 years. Coming unstuck against a very good Brighton side who were strong and well drilled.

Thanet got off to a flyer when Hulme scored a free kick to take the lead, Brighton equalised with a free kick of there own. They took the lead with a good strike that went in off the post and just before half time they hit a pot shot from the half way line which took an age to come down but did in the back of the net.

That took the wind out of the boys but they went out 2nd half and gave everything. Thanet was denied a penalty when Procopi was brought down in the box but it wasn’t given. As Thanet pushed for a 2nd Brighton got a 4th late on.

We are super proud of all the boys this season they have done Thanet and themselves proud.

A big thank you to all the parents, players, coaches, sponsors and the team behind the scenes that had made this season possible.
