Splash and Swim provide swimming sessions for babies, toddlers and children and also now to adults. Lessons are currently held at Woodlawn School in Monkseaton, Whitley Bay, Beacon Hill School in Wallsend, Percy Hedley school in Killingworth and Benfield school in Walkergate. Each lesson lasts 30 minutes and is usually in a group format. The children are grouped according to similar age and abilit

y and there are approximately 5/6 children in each class to facilitate progression and development of their water based skills. Lessons taught by Splash and Swim follow the Learn to Swim Pathway. This is a programme that has been devised by the National Governing Body for swimming, the Amateur Swimming Association (ASA), to provide swimmers with a multi-aquatic, multi-skill programme. As each child completes each stage of the programme they will have an opportunity to receive an award and certificate to show their progress. Our adult sessions go under the name of Synergy swim and we have development or fitness sessions available. We are also in the process of starting our own junior swimming club ��

💙 A heartfelt thank you from Splash & Swim 💙

After 16 incredible years, Splash & Swim will be closing its doors at the end of this term.

This little swim school started with one mum, one small pool, and a big dream - to help children feel safe, confident and happy in the water. Since then, we’ve had the absolute joy of teaching hundreds of families, sharing first splashes, proud milestones, and so many smiling faces along the way.

It’s been a true privilege to be part of your family’s swimming journey, whether you joined us for baby classes, beginner lessons, or stayed with us for years.

While this chapter is coming to an end, the legacy of Splash & Swim will live on in every swimmer who’s learned, laughed, and grown with us.

Thank you for being part of something so special 💧
