Whitley Bay junior parkrun Whitley Bay junior parkrun is a free, timed, 2km running event for young runners aged between 4-14 years. See you there 🤗

Held each Sunday at 9am,starting on the helipad opposite the Crab and Waltzer with a safety briefing and warm up from about 8:55.

‼️‼️‼️ Hi folks. Did anyone walk off with the wrong navy jacket this morning? If you did, you have Steve our run director’s house keys. (He can’t publish the results until he gets them back! 😆) Everyone ask around please and drop us a line to help Steve get them back ‼️‼️‼️

Thank you to the 110 young runners and their families who came out and braved the rain for this morning’s Junior Park Run!! Not to mention our lovely and slightly soggy volunteers! Well done to all our milestone band winners.
From next week our milestone awards will be changing see the picture below. So instead of marathons and half marathons the milestone wristbands are for how many junior park runs you’ve clocked up! Look forward to seeing lots of our young runners achieve these over the coming weeks 🥳
