We are overwhelmed and touched by your kind words over the last few weeks. It has been a great comfort to read your many comments and messages. Mr Howell James, last Master Saddler of Walsall House, Llandissilio, will be laid to rest on Thursday the 28th of November.
The horse drawn hearse will proceed from Bloomfield Narberth at 10.45am, travelling down to the Farmers Arms and along Spring Gardens to Parc Gwyn Crematorium Narberth for the service at 11.30am. Everyone is welcome to pay their respects en route and at the crematorium.

Following yesterdays sad news, unbelievably, someone has created a fake account in my fathers name and using the photo I posted yesterday. Please do not respond to any friend requests from the fake account. We have reported this to Facebook and it will hopefully be taken down asap. Any updates will be posted to this page only. It is with great sadness that I must announce the sudden passing of my father, Mr Howell James, Master Saddler. He had been in frail health for some time and remained fiercely independent to the end. My sister and I will post the funeral details, when finalised, in due course. Cards and condolences may be sent c/o Walsall House, Llandissilio. Thank you for all your kind words received so far, it is very much appreciated at this sad time.

Someone knows how to sweet talk Grandad! One favourite teddy all sewn up and fixed just in time for bed 😊
