Our fabulous staff and our volunteer board of trustees are celebrating Community Tourism Day! 🎉

🎉 On , we’re proud to celebrate the spirit of community right here in Whithorn — where all roads truly lead.

From the vision from our board of volunteer trustees behind the All Roads Lead to Whithorn community development trust to the The New Town Hall community hub and fabulous 4 star New Town Hall Bunkhouse, this is what community tourism is all about: local people coming together to create welcoming spaces, share stories, and build a sustainable future for visitors and residents alike.

Hi everyone 😊

We just wanted to share a quick reminder about gym access.

To keep things fair, safe, and running smoothly for all members, we kindly ask that everyone uses their own key card each time they enter the gym.

We know it can be tempting to hold the door for someone, but swiping in helps us make sure memberships are up to date and lets us quickly sort any issues if a card isn’t working.

For everyone’s safety, we do have CCTV in operation at the gym entrance and inside the gym, and we also regularly check access logs.

The main reason for this is fire health and safety — in the event of an alarm, our system, along with the sign-in book at the gym entrance, helps us know how many people are in the building. This only works if everyone swipes in with their own card and signs in where required.

If you’re having any trouble with your key card, please just drop us a message and we’ll get it sorted for you 👍

The power cable to the stair master in the gym has been broken- a new one has been ordered and is due to arrive next week, apologies for any inconvenience in the meantime.

In other news the lights to the gym have been fixed! Thank you to our electrician.

It’s always wonderful to set our hall up for the Whithorn Primary School concert, so wonderful to provide our facilities for all to enjoy hearing their young ones perform! Well done everyone! 🥳

2/3’s of our staff and 1/2 of our All Roads Lead to Whithorn board are women and we’re proud of all they offer to our charity every day!

Celebrating and championing women on this special day, it’s important to stop and recognise their important contribution and ensure that all year round we support, collaborate and share kindness with our fellow women- whilst recognising the important contribution our men folk also give every day too!

We’re going to have a wonderful gallery across the road! How fabulous! 🤩

Good News! We're about there and are planning to open next week. Please pop in and say hello!

Following the success of our pop-up shop over Christmas, local artists Fran (Raw Art) and Caroline (Galloway Arts) will be opening the gallery at No2 George Street full-time.

Many will remember the shop either selling electricals or for many years housing the local bakery. Now converted to a light and airy space selling a wide range of affordable arts, crafts and gifts, many locally made in Whithorn.
