‼️⚠️DOG FOULING ON OUR PITCHES – THIS HAS TO STOP ⚠️‼️

We are extremely disappointed to say that dog fouling has once again been found on the Welfare pitch at Kells ARLFC.

The worst part? It was only discovered during training tonight. Our players, coaches and volunteers were already out on the pitch before it was noticed.

This is completely unacceptable.

Our pitches are used every day by children, youth teams and open-age players. Dog mess on a sports pitch is not just unpleasant, it poses a serious health risk to our players and volunteers.

We are asking everyone in the local community: PLEASE KEEP DOGS OFF THE PITCHES AND SURROUNDING PLAYING AREAS. If you bring your dog to the grounds, clean up after it and dispose of the waste responsibly.

This is our club. This is our community. Please respect it.

🔴⚪ GOOD LUCK, ROCCO! 🏉

Everyone at Kells would like to wish Kells u16s player Rocco Wilson all the very best as he takes the next step in his rugby journey, moving away to join Newcastle Red Bulls Rugby Union.

Rocco has been a fantastic player and teammate during his time with Kells, and we’re incredibly proud to see him take on this exciting new challenge.

It’s always tough saying goodbye to one of our own, but we’re delighted to see Rocco getting the opportunity to develop his game and experience a new chapter.

Hopefully you’ll be able to see out the remainder of the season, but if not go well, Rocco. Work hard, enjoy every minute and keep doing what you do best!

In Memory of Henry “Harry” Cherry

It is with great sadness that we remember Henry, known to so many of us as Harry.

Harry was a much-loved friend of Kells ARLFC and a familiar face around the club for many years. From back in the days of his golf society, and from there his involvement became about much more than simply being a customer, he became part of the Kells family.

Harry also travelled away with our rugby team over the years, sharing in the friendships, laughter and memories that make rugby clubs so special. He was always made welcome, and in return he brought his own warmth, character and good humour wherever he went.

Those who knew Harry will remember him not just for the time he spent at Kells, but for the friendships he made and the memories he left behind. People like Harry become part of the fabric of a club, and their absence is felt by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing them.

From everyone at Kells ARLFC, we would like to offer our deepest condolences to Harry’s family and friends.

Thank you, Harry, for all the years of friendship, support and good times.

You will be sadly missed, but fondly remembered by the Kells family.

A huge congratulations to Kells U16s star Noah Doran, who has officially signed his second-year scholarship with Wigan Warriors! 🔴⚪️

Noah’s hard work, commitment and development continue to pay off, and this is a fantastic achievement for him and everyone who has supported him along the way.
