AWPC World Championships 2026 Manchester! Completed 🤪 British Powerlifting Union

Another competition ticked off the list ✅

Deadlift only!
⚪️⚪️⚪️ 175kg
⚪️⚪️⚪️ 192.5kg (World & British record)
🔴🔴🔴 195kg (couldn’t quite get my lock out but only inches away , sooooo close)

What a fantastic long day but over the moon I came 1st place 🥇

And broke the World and British record 💪

Now a well deserved year to relax and concentrate on my lock out and I will get closer to that 200kg mark if it means hardcore training 🏋️

BIG SHOUTOUTS! 📣

Darren Kilmartin for being there and dealing with the competition stress wife 😂

REBUILD Personal Training & Kev Tremlett for cheering away in a pub watching on the YouTube channel 😁

All of my family and friends who wished me good luck 🍀

It’s official my World Record has come!!!! GET IN !!!!!!

In march 2026, I completed the British Single lift Championships for my deadlift only (my strongest lift) and pulled a whopping 190kg which broke last years world record (which I had set) by 20kg 🤩

Nearly hit 195kg but just couldn’t lock out but I will hit it next time 💪💪

Thanks again to .pt, and for helping me with my training and encouraging me to hit my goals 😁

Nice 11 mile walk up to Blencathra with then back along the threlkeld to Keswick railway route 🚏📍

Happy the clouds disappeared as the hills looked clagged in this morning but the sun ☀️ burned the clouds away so we had lush views and lush weather 🤩☀️

Also my first proper hill walking navigating without Darren (scary lol 😂) least we didn’t get lost which was a bonus but Darren was tracking me just in case haha 😛

Looking forward to the next one!!!!
