Many congratulations to our WGC Women's Club Champion for 2026, Di Ennis! Di took on the field on a day of mixed weather, and won the Rose Bowl championship trophy with a gross score of 81. The runner up was Tamsin O'Reilly with a score of 94.
Congratulations also to Jo Quirk, who won the Thomson Vase for best nett score in the championship with nett 74. Pam Linford was runner up for the vase on nett 76.
Well done to all who played in the championship and made it a memorable day for our Ladies' Section.

Absolutely gutted to come into work this morning to this 😔

Everyone puts so much hard work and time into making Whitehaven Golf Course the best it can possibly be, and to have it ruined by some individuals who think it’s acceptable/funny to do this on the course is truly heartbreaking

Currently checking through CCTV footage to hopefully find the offenders.

In the meantime if anyone has any further information at all about this incident please get in touch on here or by calling the golf club on 01946591144.

Our free coaching session with Mark Mattinson in the The Golf Haven at Whitehaven Golf Club. Just over 2 hours for a single junior member that came to practice and learn more about the game. Range time, sim time and on course time. Reed (9) hit the 2nd green from the Red tees to 12 feet and just missed his birdie putt. Quality time with Mark our PGA Pro.
Our next free session for junior members with be October half term. ⛳️🏌️
