‼️⚠️DOG FOULING ON OUR PITCHES – THIS HAS TO STOP ⚠️‼️

We are extremely disappointed to say that dog fouling has once again been found on the Welfare pitch at Kells ARLFC.

The worst part? It was only discovered during training tonight. Our players, coaches and volunteers were already out on the pitch before it was noticed.

This is completely unacceptable.

Our pitches are used every day by children, youth teams and open-age players. Dog mess on a sports pitch is not just unpleasant, it poses a serious health risk to our players and volunteers.

We are asking everyone in the local community: PLEASE KEEP DOGS OFF THE PITCHES AND SURROUNDING PLAYING AREAS. If you bring your dog to the grounds, clean up after it and dispose of the waste responsibly.

This is our club. This is our community. Please respect it.

🖤HELP US KEEP KELLS ARLFC SAFE AND CLEAN FOR EVERYONE.

We shouldn’t have to find dog mess while our players are getting ready to train or in the middle of training!

🔴⚪ GOOD LUCK, ROCCO! 🏉

Everyone at Kells would like to wish Kells u16s player Rocco Wilson all the very best as he takes the next step in his rugby journey, moving away to join Newcastle Red Bulls Rugby Union.

Rocco has been a fantastic player and teammate during his time with Kells, and we’re incredibly proud to see him take on this exciting new challenge.

It’s always tough saying goodbye to one of our own, but we’re delighted to see Rocco getting the opportunity to develop his game and experience a new chapter.

Hopefully you’ll be able to see out the remainder of the season, but if not go well, Rocco. Work hard, enjoy every minute and keep doing what you do best!

👏 THANK YOU, MATT! 👏

As Matt Newall steps away from coaching at Kells, we want to take a moment to say a huge thank you for everything he has given to the kids and the club.

The time, effort, commitment and dedication that goes into coaching young players is massive, and Matt has given it in abundance, week after week, helping the kids develop their rugby league, build confidence, make memories and, most importantly, enjoy being part of the team.

There have been plenty of laughs, plenty of memories, and probably a few more grey hairs along the way! 😂 Because let’s be honest, coaching kids is definitely not for the faint-hearted!

Matt, we genuinely appreciate everything you’ve done for Kells and all the young players you’ve coached. Your time, patience and dedication have made a real difference, both on and off the pitch.

SCHOLARSHIP NEWS 🍒

A huge congratulations to Kells U16s star Noah Doran, who has officially signed his second-year scholarship with Wigan Warriors! 🔴⚪️

Noah’s hard work, commitment and development continue to pay off, and this is a fantastic achievement for him and everyone who has supported him along the way.

From Kells U16s to earning another year with one of the biggest clubs in rugby league, what an achievement! 👏❤️🤍

Sharing this here for everyone at Kells who donated and supported Maisie. ❤️

Today, Maisie rang the bell with her family by her side, such a special and emotional moment. 🔔

Maisie is the cousin of Bobbie Joe and Louie, two of our youth players, and you’d often see her proudly supporting them from the sidelines.

We’re so happy to see Maisie reach this milestone, and we’re sending her and her family all our love and best wishes for the future. ❤️

🏉❤️ GOOD LUCK, ARCHIE! ❤️🤍

From a little 6-year-old running around the Kells pitch like a wrecking ball with absolutely no fear, to representing Warrington Wolves Scholarship, and now taking the next big step by signing for the Huddersfield Giants Academy, what a journey it’s been! 👏

We’re incredibly proud to see Archie sign for the Giants Academy and relocate to Huddersfield, where he’ll also continue his education at college.

Having already experienced academy pathway rugby with Warrington, Archie knows what it takes and what lies ahead. This is another fantastic opportunity to develop, challenge himself and continue working towards his ambitions.

And in true Archie style he will also be seeing out the season with Kells U16s, the very club where it all began.

It seems like only yesterday that the little six year old was tearing around the pitch, ball in hand, with no fear! 😂❤️

Kells has been there from the beginning, and we’re delighted Archie gets the chance to finish this chapter with the club, his teammates and the people who have played a part in his journey.

Kells to Warrington Scholarship, and now Kells to Huddersfield Giants Academy. ❤️🤍
