New Signing | Ciaran Shone

We’re pleased to welcome Ciaran Shone to Sedgley Park for the 2026/27 season.

Ciaran joins us from Macclesfield, where he was part of a side that spent much of last season pushing at the top of National 2 North.

He arrives with good experience at this level and he’s hoping to build on that.

Pre-season is here.

Three fixtures to get the legs going before the season kicks off properly.

8th August we’re at home against Rossendale (First XV), then we head to Preston on the 15th with both the First and Second XV in action, before finishing pre-season at home against Sheffield RUFC on the 22nd.

New Face, Familiar Pedigree.

We’re delighted to welcome scrum-half Alex Davies to Sedgley Park for the 2026/27 season.

Alex comes to us with a seriously impressive CV for a young man coming through the Sale Sharks Academy before making his mark in National 2 with Macclesfield, then going on to become the standout 9 in BUCS rugby with Leeds Beckett University, earning himself England Students honours along the way.
