Normal service has resumed… 😆

After Jake at Snakeskin disappeared off to Morzine for a couple of weeks, our weekly Amflow wrapping drop-offs are back! 🐍

Four more bikes dropped off this week – all PR Pro, size Medium and one TL, size L/XL, and all already sold to customers who pre-ordered with us.

The positive news is that the bikes are starting to arrive. 🙌

So far of PRs we’ve received:

⚡ 10 × Amflow PR Pro – Medium
⚡ 1 × Amflow PR – Medium

We know plenty of you are still patiently waiting for other sizes and models. Unfortunately, we still get very little warning from Amflow before stock lands, and we’re not given reliable delivery dates or confirmation of exactly how many bikes will arrive in each shipment.

So if you’re waiting for your bike and haven’t heard from us yet, don’t panic – we haven’t forgotten about you! As soon as your bike is allocated/arrives, we’ll be straight in touch.

For now though, it’s definitely good to finally see PRs appearing through the door.

Fingers crossed the rest aren’t too far behind! 🤞⚡

The new Amflow TL Carbon has arrived!

We’ve just received our first Amflow TL Carbon at Cookson Cycles — and it’s now available to come and see in store. 👀

The TL is something a little different from the PX and PR. It takes the lightweight carbon construction and Avinox technology we’ve come to expect from Amflow and puts it into a seriously versatile SUV e-bike.

The all-new **Trek Domane Gen 5** is here.

For the latest Domane, Trek has gone lighter, cleaner and simpler — while keeping the comfort, confidence and versatility that have made the Domane such a popular endurance road bike.

There are some big changes.

⚡ A significantly lighter, simplified frame
🛞 Clearance for tyres up to 40mm
👌 New comfort-focused carbon seatpost
❌ No more IsoSpeed
🎒 No internal frame storage, but more mounting options for bags
⚙️ New drivetrain options, including SRAM 1x
💷 And some much sharper pricing

We think Trek has made some really sensible decisions here.

With the comfort available from modern, higher-volume tyres, there's less need for the added complexity and weight of IsoSpeed. Trek has concentrated instead on the carbon frame design, new seatpost and bigger tyres to keep the Domane comfortable.

It's still very much a Domane — just lighter, simpler and a little sharper.

And you don't have to wait to see one...

They do exist! After months of waiting, we've finally received our first Amflow PR Pro!

Like every Amflow dealer across the UK, we've received just one bike in this first shipment – a Medium – and it's already spoken for by a customer who placed their deposit several months ago.

Before it heads to its new owner, it's gone straight over to Snakeskin Wrapping for a custom bike wrap to be fitted

Hopefully this is a sign that deliveries are finally starting to gain momentum, and we'll soon see more PRs arriving for the many customers patiently waiting.

Thanks to everyone who's stuck with it – we'll keep everyone updated as soon as more bikes land.

What a few days it's been! 🇨🇭

We've just wrapped up an incredible trip to Lenzerheide, Switzerland with SCOTT Sports UK The riding has been amazing – stunning scenery, ace mountain biking with endless trails!

We also got plenty of time on the all-new Scott Spark RC... and what a bike! It's an absolute rocket on the climbs, yet still ridiculously capable when the trail points downhill.

We also got an exclusive first look at Scott's upcoming 2027 range, and it's shaping up to be better than ever. There are some seriously exciting bikes on the way, and we can't wait to show you more when the time comes!

And to top it all off, we even got to share some trails with the legend himself, Nino Schurter. Not something you get to do every day!

A huge thank you to Scott Sports for the amazing hospitality and an unforgettable few days. Looking forward to what's coming next! 🚵🇨🇭

One of the questions we get asked most often is...

"How far will it go on one charge?" 🔋

It depends on rider weight, terrain, climbing, tyres, assistance level and even the weather all make a difference.

But here's a real-world example from one of my own rides this week

🚵 Just under 50 miles
⛰️ 5,789ft of climbing
📍 Holcombe • Darwen • White Coppice • Healy Nab (x2) • Rivington • San Marino

The trails were absolutely perfect - no mud 😂

I spent most of the ride in a slightly detuned Eco mode before gradually using more Trail and Turbo towards the end (Mainly because I'd rather arrive home with an empty battery than 30% left! 😅)

It isn't a scientific range test, but hopefully it gives anyone wondering about the Amflow PX 700Wh battery a useful real-world idea of what's possible on a hilly UK mountain bike ride.
