The wall is meant to help you build control, not become something you collapse into.

If you kick up hard and sink into your lower back, your body doesn’t really learn how to balance.

It learns to depend on the wall.

Instead, use the wall as feedback.

Push the floor away.
Stack your shoulders over your wrists.
Keep your body active as you hold.

That’s what helps the wall become part of your progress.

Save this for your next wall practice 🤍

I was once told I would never weight-bear again.

So handstands weren’t just unlikely.

They were supposed to be impossible.

And for a while, I believed that version of my body.

The careful version.
The limited version.
The version that was afraid to ask for more.

But healing doesn’t always follow the story other people write for you.

Sometimes your body surprises you slowly.

With patience.
With support.
With one small brave step at a time.

Save this if you needed the reminder 🤍

Someone once told me handstands were nonsense.

And honestly, I understand why some people see it that way.

But for many of us, it isn’t really about the handstand.

It’s about feeling strong again after years of feeling like your body has changed.

It’s about rebuilding trust after injury, surgery, menopause, motherhood, or time away from yourself.

It’s about doing something that feels scary and realising you can still learn.

Maybe handstands are nonsense to some people.

But for others, they’re a way of coming back to themselves.

Share this with someone who needs the reminder 🤍

If Wheel feels stuck or uncomfortable, comment WHEEL if you’d like help making it feel stronger and safer 🤍

Wheel isn’t just about having a bendy spine.

That’s the part so many people misunderstand.

If you keep chasing a deeper backbend by forcing through your lower back, the pose can feel compressed, uncomfortable, or unsupported.

Your shoulders need space.
Your legs need to press.
Your glutes need to help support the shape.

When those pieces work together, Wheel starts to feel less like you’re cranking into your back and more like your whole body is lifting with control.

So before you ask your spine to bend more, check what your shoulders and glutes are doing first.
