At the Hampshire Fitness Centre, our bouldering wall is becoming a spray wall – a dedicated training wall designed to be inclusive, creative and fun for everyone.

We believe no one climbs wrong.
Everyone climbs differently, and that’s exactly how it should be. From complete beginners to experienced climbers, there’s always something new to try on our ever-developing wall.

✨The Hampshire Fitness Centre Team ✨

Coming to the end of the year and looking forward into a new one… we thought it would be nice to do a little introduction to who we are and what we do.

👋🏼 If you don’t know us….welcome and hello!

🫱🏻‍🫲🏼 We are a Husband & Wife partnership, John & Chrissy Ruffell. We have grown up in Overton & Whitchurch and have enjoyed helping our local community for the past 6 years!

💪🏼 We are both Personal Trainers, Fitness Instructors and specialise in different areas of health and fitness. From Strength and Conditioning to Pre and Postnatal Health.

💙 When we are away from clients or paperwork we dive head first into our sports, not only maintaining strength in the gym but into multi disciplines such as swimming, cycling and running!

Outside of the gym ….

Chrissy’s Favourite thing to do ➡️ Get lost in a good book or watch a TV series

We have something for everyone… engine machines, free weights, functional equipment, barbells, rig space with wall ball targets, benches, a speed strip, cable machine and much more!

The photoshoot will capture the energy of our fitness community, functional fitness space, bouldering wall and fitness classes.

🎉 With help of social media I feel like more women are getting into strength training during pregnancy!

🤯 It’s a topic that for most can bring up lots of questions, how do I do this? Or what can I do?!

🙋🏻‍♀️ Find your nearest Pre & Postnatal professional for guidance and direction.

🏃🏻‍♀️When you are exercising perform functional movement, 360 breathing and allow modifications through each trimester. Think intensity, range of motion, weight, and volume. More importantly listen to your body!
