Having originally been founded at Goathland in 1892 Whitby Golf Club has been located in this stunning clifftop location between Whitby and Sandsend since 1895. There are wonderful views along the coast between Kettleness and the iconic Whitby Abbey and views inland towards the rolling North York Moors. Where ever

you are on the course you are guaranteed a view of the sea! Whitby Golf Club is easily accessible from the North East via Middlesbrough and from the South and West via Scarborough and York. The course is perfect for visitors as it is neither too long or difficult, but remains a good challenge for the lower handicap golfer. The weather conditions can also provide an interesting, if unexpected, playing partner.

This weekend in honour of Darren Woods and Liz Smith.

Friday 17th July
Lady Captains Competition from 10:30am. ⛳
Chipping competition before you tee off!
Halfway house on the 9th.

Junior Club Championship from 4:30pm. ⛳

The bar area will be closed for the ladies from 6pm with the 19th, terrace and tables in the shop available for drinks.
The Open will be live on our screens from Royal Birkdale all day.

Saturday 18th July
Mens Captains Competition from 7:30am. ⛳
Halfway house on the 9th.
The Open and World Cup 3rd place playoff on TV all day.

Sunday 19th July
4BBB Pairs Competition from 7:30am. ⛳
Get a free Bacon/Sausage Sandwich before you tee off courtesy of our captains (7:30am - 11:30am). 🥪
2 Sunday Lunches for £28 can be pre booked for after your round, sign up in the clubhouse or call us to put your names down. 🍽

Pending the weather the lads plan to be back in the clubhouse after their 4th round for around 9:00/9:30pm tonight. Come join them for a pint afterwards!

Join us for England's final group game of the World Cup this Saturday. Our buckets of beer have been going down a treat and the atmosphere has been great too. We're extending both the wine and beers offer but this Saturday our wonderful Links Kitchen will be serving up American Style Small Plates such as Fried Chicken Tenders, Hot Dogs and Nachos. 🍻🌭🍗

Getting home made easy! 🚐
We have discounted taxis available and are also looking at the possibility of a bus home again as we did for the first game. This will be subject to interest and availability. Please comment below if you'd like a a seat on the bus should it run!
