We as a Cricket Club are always looking for both new playing members, businesses looking to support a local team, but most importantly people to come to our ground to give support

throughout the season. Throughout the season there are Senior games on everyday Saturday and every other Sunday, as well as Junior fixtures and Evening League being played in between. This means there is plenty of opportunity to come and enjoy some cricket wether it be with a Cup of Tea or something stronger from the bar in hand.

🏏 What a fantastic first outing for our new U11s girls team at the 6-a-side festival in Pickering today!
The girls played two matches, working hard for a brilliant win against Pickering and then just losing out against a very strong Scarborough side, but restricting their runs with outstanding fielding and bowling.

Most importantly, the girls had an amazing time. They showed some fantastic skills with bat and ball, worked hard in the field, and supported each other every step of the way. It was wonderful to see them cheering each other on, celebrating each other's successes, and growing in confidence as a team.

We couldn't be prouder of every single player. Their enthusiasm, teamwork and positive attitude were a credit to the club. 💚💛

A special thank you to Essie for coming along to help and to Ricky for scoring and umpiring throughout the afternoon.

The future is looking bright for this group of girls, and we can't wait to see what they achieve together! 🌟🏏

🟢🟡⚫️3rd XI Result🟢🟡⚫️

What a terrific advert for cricket we had down at the TG today with our 3rd XI and 3rd XI playing out a fantastic draw played in the best of spirit.

Marske batted first making 209 all out. Skipper for the day took 2 wickets but the stand out was 14 year old Holly Middlemiss who took 3-12 from her 3 overs.

In reply, we had lots of useful contributions throughout but was the pick with an excellent 74. Batting to save the game he shared an excellent 50 partnership with young 12 year old Zak Allardice who batted with great composure and maturity beyond his years, which was great to see.

A fantastic afternoon of cricket. We wish both Darren Pritchard of Whitby and Jonathon Webb speedy recoveries after two nasty looking injuries today. 🏏

🟡🟢⚫️2nd XI Result🟡🟢⚫️

The 2nd XI fell to defeat away at Rockliffe Hall yesterday after a 6 wicket defeat.

Asked to bat first top scored with 33 but a collapse of 5 wickets for 4 runs ruined a promising start.

In reply, dropped catches cost us in pursuit of wickets meaning our hosts knocked them off for the loss of 4 wickets, with skipper taking two of them.

We go again next week 🏏

🟢🟡⚫️1st XI Result🟢🟡⚫️

Another win… just! 🥴

In a low scoring, fast paced game, the 1st XI moved in 3rd place in the table after a hard-fought victory over Wolviston.

Wolviston batted like it was t10, mixing some good shots with some interesting cricket to say the least. Youngsters and held their nerve well, taking 3 wickets a piece to dismiss our visitors for 115 inside 18 overs.

In reply we were 2 down in the first over, but (who’s best shot was the edge apparently) and .buck put on a good partnership to take us close to victory. However a collapse meant that increasingly vocal Wolviston players smelt victory, but in the end the sweet smell of 25pts stayed with us after Matty Sharpe dispatched the winning runs over cow corner.
