This Friday looks like it’s going to be a busy one. All stars ⭐️⭐️ is on, the Dynamos are on and the u11s Vikings welcome Fylingdales to the TG.

BBQ expert Guy is firing up the BBQ and the bar will be open.

2 close games for our Under 13s Yesterday

The “B” Just losing out in the run chase against a strong Fylingdales team, Good Contributions from Essie 2 wickets, Sam 2 wickets, James E 25 retired and Alex 25 retired were the standouts for Whitby but we fell just short

The “A” team a win on the road in a last over Thriller at Pickering, Ed the last over hero with a boundary to win the game as Whitby won 8 wickets down.
Lucas and Corey did the damage with the ball for Whitby with 3 wickets a piece and a run a ball 25 retired from Oliver K was the standout with the bat 🏏

The U13s “A” have their rearranged league game at home to Nawton Grange this evening. Come along and enjoy a drink in the sun watching our future stars 💚

More District Representatives from Whitby CC 💚
Today we had Ezra, Essie and Cooper play for the DVJL under 11s rep side away at Doncaster and helping the team to a great victory

All 3 contributed in the win with Ezra opening the bowling and returning bowling figures of 1 wicket for 13, Essie 3 wickets for 14 and Cooper 1 wicket for 15 and also taking a great catch.
Special mention goes to Cooper who stepped in to play at 30 minutes notice due to a late drop out

We are really proud of all our Juniors and it’s Brilliant to see them competing at high standards 🏏

Mixed fortunes for our under 11s tonight with a great win for the “A” team vs Wykeham and a close defeat for the Vikings away at Castleton

Ezra top scored for the “A” with 15 but the game was won with the ball and in the field with tight accurate bowling from every bowler tonight making it hard for Wykeham to score runs

Player of the Match the whole team tonight 👏🏻

The Vikings frustratingly fell just 6 runs short in a thriller at Castleton and now look forward to their cup semi final on Sunday
