What a glorious evening we had on Wednesday for the NOT Ulley Res KMR and it's new route. 🌾

Huge thank you to all of our volunteers who were out on the course directing you around the route and cheering you on. 🦺

Dam Flask Relays 2026

A hot and hilly evening awaited runners at the annual Dam Flask Relays, expertly hosted by Sheffield Running Club. With warm temperatures and the challenging reservoir course serving up plenty of climbs, it was another tough but enjoyable night of racing.

Rotherham Harriers fielded four teams across the event, producing some excellent performances against strong competition from clubs across the region.

Race Reminder – NOT Ulley Res

A few key details for tonight:

📍 Race HQ: Whiston Parish Church Cricket Club, Doles Lane, Whiston, S60 4JG

🎟️ Bib Collection: From 6:00pm at Race HQ
⏰ Final collection: 6:45pm

🏁 Race Start: 7:00pm

🎧 No headphones permitted during the race.

👟 Footwear: Mixed terrain/trail route. Road or trail shoes are both suitable depending on your personal preference and the conditions.

📸 kmrphotosuk will be lurking on course taking photographs.

👟 inov8sheffield will also be with us again offering trail shoe trials.

🍽️ Post-race buffet and awards presentation back at the Cricket Club after the race.

🏅 12 Harriers Earn English Schools Selection! 🏅

A fantastic achievement for Rotherham Harriers & AC, with 12 athletes selected to represent South Yorkshire at the English Schools Track & Field Championships.

With only around 40 athletes selected across the whole South Yorkshire team, having 12 Harriers earn selection is a remarkable reflection of the talent, dedication and hard work within the club.

A fantastic morning in Leeds for the Run For All Leeds 10K, with another great representation from Rotherham Harriers taking on one of Yorkshire's most popular city-centre races.

🏃‍♀️🧁 Race to the Cakes – RHAC Result 🧁🏃‍♀️

A fantastic performance from Joanne Palmer at the ever-popular Race to the Cakes hosted by Killamarsh Kestrels on Saturday.

Joanne tackled the challenging 7.5-mile off-road course around Rother Valley Country Park, crossing the finish line in an impressive 1:27:14. She finished 100th overall and secured 21st place in the FV40 category, battling through the trails before earning a well-deserved reward from the incredible cake table waiting at the finish!

👏 Congratulations Joanne on another strong run and a great representation of Rotherham Harriers & AC.

And of course, a huge well done to all the volunteers, marshals, organisers and bakers who helped make this unique event such a success. The cakes looked every bit as impressive as the running!
