After a cruel semi-final defeat last weekend, today ended not the way we wanted it to end, losing in the quarter-finals on penalties in our home tournament.
Massively proud of every single one of the lads. The effort and commitment throughout the tournament was fantastic, and penalties is anyone's game.

A great day and a brilliantly run tournament at Whetstone. Thank you to everyone involved and to those who supported us. We'll take the positives, learn from it, and come back stronger next week at Coalville! 💪⚽️🌳🌳

The lads finished off the season in style this morning with a strong win in one of their best performances of the season, over a very tough Loughborough Lions side.
After a cagey 20 minutes, the Pumas opened the scoring and added a further 2 in quick succession. They were made to work hard for the goals and managed to add to their tally in the second half while keeping a clean sheet in what was a great game of football. We now look forward to a month of tournaments, in the hope of winning some silverware! 🏆⚽️🌳🌳

We headed over to Boldmere today for the Boldmere St Michael Tournament, and the boys were outstanding from start to finish. After winning every game on the way to the final without conceding a single goal, we unfortunately fell just short at the last hurdle, losing 2–1 in a closely fought final. It was a brilliant day all round in a well run tournament, made even more special by walking out to the Champions League anthem 🎶⚽️🌳🌳

The boys finished their league season on a high this morning with a strong, composed performance away at Desford. They took control from the outset, creating numerous chances that led to several well-taken first-half goals. Desford managed to pull one back with a strike from just outside the area.
The second half followed a similar pattern, with the boys adding to their tally while remaining solid at the back to keep Desford out. It was an excellent all-round performance and a fitting end to a great season ⚽️🌳🌳

The boys produced another excellent team performance to overcome Aylestone Park on Sunday morning.
From the start, they played with energy and confidence, moving the ball well and creating several chances which lead to some well taken goals in both halves.
Defensively, the boys were just as strong, and being organised at the back enabled them to secure another deserved clean sheet, making it 2 in a row.

The boys put in one of their best performances of the season vs Kirby Kings this morning. A resolute display ensured some great football and a clean sheet in which the boys took a deserved win. 3 games to go before the league season comes to an end, but we look forward to a good test away at Aylestone Park next week ⚽️🌳🌳

After a positive but tough game last week away to GNG, the boys kicked off a soggy Sunday afternoon with their first tournament of the season. Playing up in the U10 competition, the boys had a great start, winning 2 and drawing 1, topping their group.
This put us into the semi final where the scores were level after normal time, and with no golden goal scored, penalties came. The Panthers held their nerve and advanced to the final.
Facing a L1 side, the boys stepped up and worked their socks off, taking the game to golden goal where a dubious handball decision was given with seconds remaining. The opposition player stepped up and tucked away the penalty, earning them the victory and trophy.
A great effort from start to finish, and an achievement the group can be proud off 👏🏻 ⚽️🌳🌳

After an evenly fought contest last week against Anstey Nomads, the lads went again this morning against a physical Desford team in blustery conditions. Having no subs this week, the lads had to work hard as a unit and did just that, playing some great football, which in turn got them the result they deserved.

It was another good test for the Panthers this week away at a strong Barrow Town Eagles side. Similar to last week in the first half, the boys created chances and worked hard, but couldn't convert them and even with some great saves by the GK found themselves behind at the break. The second half again was a different story, and with the boys continued pressure, came a flurry of goals getting themselves back into the game and eventually going ahead, completing the come back and holding out for the win ⚽️🌳🌳
