Jurassic Coast Girls FC Jurassic Coast Girls Football Club is a dedicated Girls Football Club based at 3D Health & Fitness, Wey Valley School, Weymouth, South Dorset.

Jurassic Coast Girls Football Club was founded in 2016 when we felt that our previous club were not prepared to put fairness, Child Welfare & Good Practice before winning at all costs. The idea was to create a dedicated Girls Football & Futsal Club that will give all the girls in the coastal area of South Dorset an opportunity to play Girls Football & Futsal. In a very shot space of time JCGFC has

expanded in numbers and we currently offer two age groups Under 10's (Current School Years 4 & 5) and Under 8's (School Years 2 & 3). We are based at 3D Health & Fitness at Wey Valley School in Weymouth where we train at their Indoor Sports Hall and host our club matches on their outdoor grass pitches. We have been very lucky to receive funding for Goalposts & Corner Flags from The Steve Bernard Foundation which has allowed us to expand the number of teams & pitches we can offer and are therefore looking to expand the number of girls & teams involved in the club. We have also received funding of £1000 worth of Kit & Equipment through the Postcode Lottery Community Trust for our Winter Futsal project which will see us encourage more girls into the sport & allow us to host several U10 & U8 Girls Futsal Festival around the county, including the Qualifier for the National Futsal Festival. Those that attended any of the two club mascot day matches when Yeovil Ladies played Man City will know what a true legend Super Steph is.

Captain of England at the time, she spent ages after the matches chatting to the girls, signing autographs, having photos and didn't leave until every young supporter or player has had their chances to meet and chat with her. Real Inspiration to the players of the future.

Amazing way to end our little history today. All 3 of Jurassic Coast Girls FC teams playing 3 other clubs who's girls play for their love of football first.

Thanks for all the great comments. Let's have a great send off at tonight's BBQ and presentation night.

The fact the vast majority of these girls are going to carry on playing means we have done our job in ensuring they enjoy the game first and foremost!
