MANAGER REQUIRED

Weymouth Ladies FC are inviting applications for the position of Manager.

The team will shortly be withdrawing from the South West League Premier Division and will look to play in the Dorset Womens League for season 2014/15.

Managerial duties to include:

*Recruitment and selection of a squad of players
*Running of weekly training session
*Managing of the team for all Sunday matches
*Complete all relevant admin duties associated with team
*Seek commercial partners and generate income for benefit of team

Front of shirt sponsorship of Weymouth Ladies FC's new away kit is available to any interested Company for just £500. This covers the remainder of this season and all of next season.

April Half Term GIRLS ONLY soccer schools. After being asked to do so, for the first time we will be trying to run a series of soccer schools this half term solely for girls. Whether you are an experienced player or a complete beginner these soccer schools will cater for your needs. All girls who attend at least 3 of the 10 days will be automatically chosen to be FREE mascots for a Cafe Oasis Weymouth Ladies FC match next season where you will join in the pre match warm up, take part in your own small sided game on the pitch and have your photograph taken with the Cafe Oasis Weymouth Ladies FC team.

INTERESTED IN FOOTBALL COACHING?

Cafe Oasis Weymouth Ladies FC are looking for 2 or 3 quality coaches who would like the opportunity to work with South West League Premier Division standard players on a weekly basis.

We want to improve the clubs product by having additional coaches to split training down into smaller groups of players and work on their individual strengths / weaknesses.

Ability to recruit / bring quality players to the club would be an advantage although not essential.

CAN THE LADIES REACH THE FINAL?

This Sunday sees Cafe Oasis Weymouth Ladies FC trying to reach the final of the Dorset FA Womens County Cup when they entertain Parley Sports Ladies FC at Weymouth College with a 2pm kick off.

Weymouth are massive underdogs so need as much support as possible to help them.

FROME TOWN TODAY

Another big game for Cafe Oasis Weymouth Ladies FC today when they travel to the Aldersmith Stadium to play Frome Town in the South West League Premier Division 2pm kick off.

Lot of players still missing through injury and unavailability but certain the 13 who are travelling will put in 100% effort to get a positive result.

WHY WE NEED YOUR HELP

The reality of running a team in the South West League Premier Division is the increased costs associated.

In the overall picture of modern day football for Cafe Oasis Weymouth Ladies FC to compete at the equivalent of the mens Football League Division One our budget is tiny, but to us it is a mountain.

This is the reason we are trying to take steps to remedy the situation before it is too late.

We urgently require a group of 6-8 business people to assist us by forming a Committee to oversee the running of the club and help us continue the great work of the last 8 seasons.

Starting to stimulate some interest but we still need local business owners to get involved. This is about making sure 8 years of hard work is preserved and improved upon.

WE NEED YOUR HELP

Today sees the start of a restructuring of Weymouth Ladies FC to both safeguard and preserve the long term future of the club.

We are totally indebted to Cafe Oasis our fantastic sponsors who have provided fabulous support and without them we could not compete in the South West League Premier Division League.

Realities of the situation need addressing however and restructuring will focus on both on the field and off the field activities.

We have a fantastic product and as stage one we need both commercial and business expertise support to exploit this fact.

To this extent we are urgently looking for 6-8 local business owners with a cross section of skills that have a little time to spare to sit on a Committee to run the club and spread the workload.

Off the field focus will feature on among other things:

* Marketing
* Increasing professionalism
* Business networking
* Sponsorship
* Forming partnerships

We have so many ideas that we would like to implement but do not have the business acumen or resources to implement.

We realise time is vital to everybody in this day and age but please help us to make a ladies football club the town and community of Weymouth can be proud of for years to come.
