The medals, trophies and awards are all fabulous but it’s the friendships and working as a team off stage that as a teacher makes it so worthwhile.
It makes all the stress and endless hours in the studio worth it 🎉

🎉🎉🎉More Good News 🎉🎉🎉
A huge congratulations, our Ocean Eyes Lyrical group have just found out that they have placed 4th in the junior group category
At the ultimate victory dance competitions throughout the Whole year…this is an incredible achievement from our heat back in September and have now been announced as the 4th highest scoring group, words cannot describe how proud I am of this group and a huge thank you to Miss Charlotte for the excellent choreography, cannot wait to see what you have in store for the next lyrical group 🎉

🎉🎉VIBE FINALS LONDON DAY 2 🎉🎉

Another absolutely amazing day, very tired children from yesterdays full day but wow they came out on that stage and danced and sang their hearts out again, the standard has been incredible, so to see them all hold their own has been fantastic.
Due to having to get back home, we couldn’t stay for the final results which didn’t start till 9.30pm, so we only have the results from the morning session 🎉

Not often I’m Lost for words…but wow today I have been,12 pupils have absolutely danced and sang their hearts out, on a London stage against some really amazing schools, but they have totally held their own and come away with

3 1st places
3 3rd places
And 4 special awards
Not bad for 8 dances that competed today.

Medals and trophies are great but it’s the love and support that these children have shown today that is the biggest winner, everyone of them cheering on and making sure they are the first to congratulate each other.

Standing in the wings today watching you all has made me the proudest teacher ever, and I certainly needed that this week.

Then the parents…thank you for your support today cheering, clapping and whooping every single pupil, it’s been a very long day for you all but the enthusiasm was still there right to the end, and very impressed that some of you even managed a little trip to the shops as well 🤣🤣

Lastly to senior student Amelie, Mrs Forshaw and Neve who have been with us all day even though Amelie does not take part till tomorrow, the support and love you show to the school and myself is fantastic and very much appreciated.

🎉🎉VIBE FINALS LONDON 2026 🎉

Wishing everyone lots and lots of luck today and tomorrow as you take to the London stage at the Vibe finals..to say we are all SO proud of you to get this far is an understatement, go out on that stage and sparkle like the stars you are but remember the weekend is all about supporting each other and creating the memories the children can have doing what they love, so we need the loudest cheers from the parents, lots of photos and let’s celebrate these fantastic children who I am proud of every single day….VIBE FINALS…let’s do this 🎉

Bournemouth Dance festival 2026
So proud of the festival team who danced their hearts out at the festival this week, we only had a very small team entered as lots were away enjoying the sunshine or in Cheltenham at the All England semis, but wow you all held your own in some large tough sections.
The confidence and continued improvement was evident this week.
Super proud of every single one of you 🎉
A special mention to senior pupil Amelie who also qualified for the senior classical championships but due to A levels was unable to compete, but what an achievement Amelie 🎉
