Lateral raise is a great exercise to hit the delts and one I see some done wrong quite often.
1.Slight bend at the elbow
2.hands level with the elbow
3.traps & scapula fixed in position
Try this sat down with a slightly lighter weight than you would normally do, focusing on the eccentric phase of the movement and ensuring you don’t use momentum to get the weight up

How important is planning?
The saying goes ‘fail to prepare, prepare to fail’ which is mostly true.

While you will still see some results in the gym if you don’t follow a specific training program the progress you can make will be limited.

Why?
How do you know if you are getting progressive overload if you never record the weights you lift?
Are you working within a certain rep range relative to your goal?
Are you taking too much rest in between sets?
Do you perform an exercise then don’t perform that same movement for weeks?

These are some of the factors you need to ask yourself and correct, then along with a healthy lifestyle and nutrition plan progress can be made

Lateral raise is an exercise I always throw into my shoulder workout!!

Make sure you control the weight on both the concentric and eccentric phase of the movement and avoid using momentum to get the weight up.

Try mixing it up and drop set this towards the end of your workout
